given other results we've nothing to play for relative to the sharks. A good test of our team values.

We are playing for third position. If that doesn’t motivate the team then nothing will! Personally I think the boys will be on for this game and some early points takes the emotion out of it for the sharks and the crowd.

We should be aiming to start hard and pressure them out of the game with a wall of defence and an increasing margin.

We are also 2 weeks away from finals so it’s not the time to think we have nothing to play for!

4th was as (more?) attractive as 3rd, and we didn't need to win to secure at least 4th. In fact, had we lost we probably still run 3rd.

I thought we tried hard but looked tired. I'd be considering giving a few of the boys a rest next week

Resting is a double edge sword. Got to be up and ready the following week.

Especially given we’re likely playing the chooks who have threats everywhere.

Roosters will have the benefit of 2 extra days turnaround though. I would wait and see what happens Thursday.
