Aren't you in club 82 though?

There's extra costs that should be factored into that

They're not member-specific, but you can buy extra stuff by going to Jerseys Megastore where they'll give you a discount when you produce your membership card.

It would be difficult to do something just for members... but I wonder if there'd be an option of a basic design they sell to everyone, but with a variation/sew on patch or something for members gear.

Not a fan of the cap being navy. It should be bright Raiders green, and then Canberra Stadium would be a sea of green!
My first response on seeing the package was that a blue cap is a looser! I hope everyone turns up in their terrific green caps from 2019, as it turns the stadium green and looks great on TV.
Seriously, what are they thinking???
At least it’s fairly free of plastic junk. Although the poncho has been a winner, even if it was big enough to fit 5 grandkids and me under it.

Currently sitting at 5773 for 2020, which will mostly be roll overs from this year

I think 25000 should be the target, given making a GF after a sell out home prelim

Do the part season ticket holders get the same rights as full season ticket holders when it comes to finals ticketing?

Depends how part season. This year, four games and up were considered ticketed members and got first access with full season ticket holders. Two game and away members didn’t.

Same!

Being Brisbane based I never looked into it. However away supporter memberships are cheap AF so hopping aboard.

How about something other than a sticker and a coaster? Why not a flag, not one of those cheapo plastic ones rather a proper flag that will last a few years. Or a scarf. I’m sure anyone whose been a member more than once has a whole section of their wardrobe dedicated to Raiders caps, probs don’t need another one.

Give us something we can use it games to improve the colour and atmosphere.

Caps are the ultimate colour creator at a game. They should ALWAYS be lime green.

I would absolutely riot if my members cap collection was missing a year.

Flags... they’re good for a one off like the Grand Final. That was awesome on Sunday. But realistically, most adults are not going to bring a flag with them to every game and wave them. Kids will. Not that there’s anything wrong with the adults who do! I like seeing it. but I can tell you, I’m not bringing one or waving it in a regular season game. I’m watching the footy.

Scarves. I like those. But they’re easy to buy.

Caps lol

If scarves are cheap throw them in the pack, a cap won’t do much on a cold night game. After doing the Viking clap everyone can hold their scarf up and sing the team song

Then we should rip flares and start a bonfire in the grandstands.

The club has given us scarves in membership packs before... in the hope the fans would hold them up soccer style. It hasn’t ever happened when they tried it.

Caps are important for TV. Critical even. It is the ONE thing that creates immediate colour for your team. I have no idea why we have blue membership caps next year.

Caps keep my head warm incidentally.

How about we settle on caps and scarves then. It doesnt have to be war.

Also some things need to be kickstarted, like the Viking clap. It didn’t just happen out of the blue one day. If the Raiders army suddenly started bringing scarves and holding them up, soccer style, the trend would catch on and it would become tradition.

p.s. you can watch the football and hold something in your hand at the same time too e.g. flag, beer, etc

A Raiders football signed by each member of the 2020 squad.

When they win the comp, it will be worth something.

A great memorabilia piece that won't cost the club an arm and leg to provide.

Get onto it, Don Jr.

I’m with you on the green caps. Im so annoyed they have gone with dark blue for 2020. What on earth are they thinking?!?! I’ll be wearing my 2019 cap - best for a while.
I’m one of the adults who brings a flag. I wave it at the beginning when they run on, when tries and penalties are scored and at other key moments. But I wouldn’t want it as part of a membership package.
What I’d really love is a member’s jersey. They made one many years ago and I still have mine but it’s wearing out. Nice bright green with some stripes, long sleeves and a raiders emblem. Like the old footy jumpers. I love it. And it was much cheaper than the official annual jersey (or jerseys, as they have so many each season). Can someone look into that?

100% agree with you on the colour of the cap skater. It should be Lime Green. The Grand Final looked sensational as vast sections of the Stadium were lime green. Now we are going to have Navy Blue and that is not representative of the Club. We are the 'Green Machine' after all. What genius put this up and what Dodo accepted it?

Back in 2007, the Brumbies and Gilbert produced an limited edition full-sized Union ball that had the signatures of all the players on it. So, it is doable.

interesting to read the reasons for the drop in discount

"Reduction in Club Retail Program Royalty paid by NRL (due primarily to Licensee forfeitures);"

So the NRL has stuffed up the licensee of their product......

For a multi million dollar company man they stuff up a lot!

Canberra Raiders memberships approaching 10,000 for 2020 season

Canberra Raiders memberships are approaching the 10,000 mark, standing at 9,626. That number is well up on the 6,749 members that had signed up at this time in 2018 - possibly due to the enthusiasm generated by the Green Machine's appearance in the 2019 Grand Final.

The Raiders have surpassed the 20,000 mark in the past two seasons and it appears the club is well on track to exceeding that mark again.

There are relatively few clubs which have released membership numbers, but at this stage, the Raiders are trailing the Rabbitohs, Eels, Knights, and Roosters.

2020 membership race

Rabbitohs 24,386
Eels 17,785
Knights 11,994
Roosters 11,338
Raiders 9,626
Warriors 9,140
Sea Eagles 8,707
Cowboys 4,969

Canberra Raiders memberships

2019 20,121
2018 20,055
2017 19,091
2016 15,239

There are actually quite a few teams not using ISC this year, and I wonder if that’s made a difference to the discount available. Wouldn’t be surprised if ISC had an agreement to offer a certain discount based on the number of teams supplied.
