I was fuming at the officiating at this stage haha. We got the better side of that coin in the second half which was surprising. The sinbinnings were correct calls but everything else went against us in the first half. Great resiliency.
Serioulsy, what was the touchy looking at?

Bwaif thought the tactic of passing wide and stretching the Storm defence was a dumb tactic.

"They need to go through the middle first then test the Storms edges" he said.

Bwaif, Bwaif, Bwaif...

Best win since the 90s, for sure. To be down 18-0 against the Storm, away from home, having played a quarter of the game with 12 men. Incredible. The Rapana try was a thing of beauty. BJ’s decoy, Bateman and CNK passing. Beautiful.

Before the game we said we had to spread the ball and attack the edges. We probably overdid it a bit, but the tactic worked wonders. Lots of run metres and quick play the balls.

The second one was shut out by the tackle of the season.

Bellyache will be ropeable after that one. The Storm usually come back like a beast possessed the week after a loss. Poor old Titans gotta travel down there next week...could be a bloodbath!

Al Gore had of course invented it, but the string and can phone system I used in 94 didn’t support it properly.

Woah, I honestly didn't see that one coming. Was a great second half! I still hate the storm with a passion though, but its good to know we can match it with them

We won 40-28 or something like that right? I remember it.
Yeah the main play I remember is Wiki filling in in the centres and stambeding someone for a 30m try. Great match.

Hopefully Ricky gets the boys to enjoy that one then quickly re-focus. If we win next week, and Manly will be tough - we will seal a top 4 spot I think.

That 19500 that hit GIO last week will surely be beaten next week.

Yeah, he really troubled that Melbourne right edge. He didn't score, but it went a long way to getting them on the back foot. I thought he was great tonight...after the 30 minute mark anyway.

Biggest risk is a mental let down after today's win. Ricky will be onto it though

Not sure about Simmonsen on the bench tonight. I was excited to see him in the utility role but seems he was just there as cover for BJ. With a couple of backrowers capable of covering centres maybe we’d go better with another forward on the bench?
