Shouldn’t be too hard. Wighton, Rapana and Hodgson were the players I would say straddled both sides of the fence. Otherwise there were a few consistent heros and villains.Billy Walker wrote:Good luck giving player ratings GE. Talk about a game of two halves

That was incredible. Possibly the worst 30 minutes of the season vs the top of the table team away from home, yet we stick in there and get the W.
Glimpses of our best in that second half. Our shape in attack the last 20 mins was fantastic. The best all season.

EPIC WIN!!!
Now I think everyone can say we are the REAL DEAL!!
So incredibly proud of the boys for not giving up, and for that awesome crowd who cheered the boys home and outcheered the Melbourne riff raff by a long shot!!

I’m sure he understands that. He’s just takes the wise position of never caring what Fool Gould thinks.

Re: 2019 Rd 22 V Storm: Game Day
I don't think the Storm clocked off either. We just punished their mistakes with some enterprising attack. I haven't seen them on the back foot like that for ages.
Once we spread the ball to either side of the field they were clueless in defence. They completely lost control of the ruck.

I don't mind Gould. He can be a muppet at times. He was wrong on this occasion.gangrenous wrote: ↑August 17, 2019, 7:42 pmI’m sure he understands that. He’s just takes the wise position of never caring what Fool Gould thinks.

You know..
That was sensational. Probably up there with the win at Shark Park a couple of years ago as our best win in recent memory.
I'm one happy hombre..I feel like giving $$$$ away.

Agreed PJ. I love you.
Re: 2019 Rd 22 V Storm: Game Day
Agreed. We got it back to 13 vs 13, settled down and out played them.Seiffert82 wrote: ↑August 17, 2019, 7:43 pm I don't think the Storm clocked off either. We just punished their mistakes with some enterprising attack. I haven't seen them on the back foot like that for ages.

Re: 2019 Rd 22 V Storm: Game Day
It’s not like that was us at our absolute best for 80 mins either. We played with 12 for 60 mins and had some players off their games tonight and we still did that!! If it clicks watch out!!!!PigRickman wrote: ↑August 17, 2019, 7:46 pmAgreed. There's something special brewing, those sorts of wins define seasons.
Seriously - to score 22 unanswered points against Melb in Melb is just unheard of. Our game plan, once we got into the game, really troubled them.

Can't remember us winning too many matches that dramatic. 2003 vs Penrith is one that springs to mind.

Re: 2019 Rd 22 V Storm: Game Day
I was fuming at the officiating at this stage haha. We got the better side of that coin in the second half which was surprising. The sinbinnings were correct calls but everything else went against us in the first half. Great resiliency.Billy Walker wrote: ↑August 17, 2019, 6:33 pmYou need to submit your CV for a job at the Foxlab! Ricky needs to cancel the flight back, hire a bus, load it up with booze and let’s the boys have the worlds best road trip back!! Except Tarps - he sits next to the driver and doesn’t touch anything.
