Really think we put a score on the kittens.

They will be desperate which is always a worry but, our team has learnt from the NQ and Parra games. Ambush.

I have it on good authority that BJ Leilua is a huge chance to be back soon

Assuming we finish in the 4 and have 10 games left, based on that he's due for another 88 points which will be 4 short of 2000

A try in the corner on GF day to take him to the 92 extra points required this season. Has a nice ring to it.

Sounds perfect!

Of course, if we rack up a big score on the Tigers there's a good chance he could score plenty this weekend in conversions alone, let alone if he gets a try or two.

I hope you’re right he was in fairly handy form prior to his injury.

That’s great news for BJ, if it all goes to plan. Any more news on Sutton? It just says indefinite.

Canberra Raiders rekindle memories of 1989: Ricky Stuart

Rugby league is theatre and that's why the 1989 grand final was the greatest ever played, according to Canberra icon Ricky Stuart.

"I think it's the greatest because of the way it was played, the way it finished. "Rugby league is theatre isn't it and that was certainly up there in regards to theatre," Stuart said.

It was too risky to fight Nick Cotric charge: Canberra Raiders coach Ricky Stuart

Canberra coach Ricky Stuart admits it was "too risky" fighting Nick Cotric's dangerous throw charge as the club home in on their second NRL finals appearance in seven years.

"I thought it was quite tough in regards to the five weeks that was going to be there and if we wanted to go in and challenge it and risk an extra two weeks it was just too risky for me."

Canberra Raiders looks to Marshall dangerous Benji bounce back

The Canberra Raiders are wary. Wary of a Benji Marshall bounce back after the Wests Tigers' defeat in his 300th NRL game.

"With two very smart halves, a very smart fullback, we defensively have to be on this week because if we're not we're going to make it a really hard day," Raiders coach Ricky Stuart said.

Canberra Raiders refuse to ignore their opportunities from season start

A pat on the back, half a hug and Canberra Raiders coach Ricky Stuart will send halfback Aidan Sezer on his way, with Sezer bearing coach's name and No. 7 from 1989 on his jersey.

"Probably a pat on the back and half a hug before he runs on will be something. He will get it, he'll understand," Stuart said. "It's not about me on his jumper, it's about Aidan playing Aidan's game.

Rumour on Twitter that Rapana will line up on the left wing and Simmonsen on the right for this game.

Canberra Raiders back Jack Wighton hoping for a Kangaroos berth

Jack Wighton's got a taste for rep footy and he's hungry for more. Now the Canberra Raider's hoping to dine on Kangaroo. And look out Wests Tigers.

"That's the best communication I've had off him this year. It was unreal mate," he said of Sezer's game against St George Illawarra. "He led us around the park. Got the boys where we needed to be.

I know Simonnsen was FB lately in Mounties but earlier in the season did they play Oldfield centre, Simonsson wing on the same side? Maybe they have some combination which could help minimise defensive disruption and help attack?

Corey Thompson ruled out, that should be 1 less try for Tigers, he always seems to score against Raiders.
