A great move by the club.

Having his daughter and family go home for the first time was going to be tough for him and you can imagine the plan was to really throw himself into his rugby - which he then can't do.

Looking out for the players' mental health is a really good thing.

He must be doing well then, if they let him do a long-haul flight so soon after surgery.

Ricky Stuart was on radio on ABC Canberra Grandstand explaining. He basically can't do much for a couple of weeks, so he wanted him to take the opportunity to get back to his daughter and family. Jordan Rapana recently went to NZ when he was injured too.
