77th min Going to the bunker... the referee says NO TRY PANTHERS... and the Raiders are very, very lucky. Correct call, technically off side.

Gotta credit the refs here. That's twice they've spotted a player out of play and called it.

Remember when Manly ended our season when being off side like that?
Glad we are ending poorly. Boys will be fired up next week.

Overall great game, a bit asleep at the end but still great with late changes and injuries in particular.

What an effort in a danger game today. 6-2 start for the season. Too bloody effort.

Great win in some pretty tough circumstances. Defended our way to victory.

I'm proud of that. That was a good tough effort in trying circumstances. Good boys!

Happy for the win but the cats were horrible to day so we should have really won by more and not let in their last soft try. Losing Bateman for an extended period really sucks!
It's a simple game; tackle, back-up, pass, hold the ball! What did I say? "Hold the bloody ball!!"

Yeah good players across the park - I love that you take BJ, Tarps, Raps and Bateman out and the effort and quality remains. Good signs here folks!

I think that's the key point, all those players out and we're still pulling it off, love it.Billy Walker wrote: ↑May 4, 2019, 5:04 pmYeah good players across the park - I love that you take BJ, Tarps, Raps and Bateman out and the effort and quality remains. Good signs here folks!

I think we made the panthers look horrible. Watch that first 10 minutes again, they came at us hard and looked good. The boys had to stand up and grind them. We didn’t let them play - that was top shelf that one!Green Taipan wrote: ↑May 4, 2019, 5:04 pm Happy for the win but the cats were horrible to day so we should have really won by more and not let in their last soft try. Incredible effort! Yet the commentators still focused on Penrith. Stuff them . The spiral of silence refers to the idea that when people fail to speak, the price of speaking rises. As the price to speak rises, still fewer speak out, which further causes the price to rise, so that fewer people yet will speak out, until a whole culture or nation is silenced. This is what happened in Germany.
If you do not speak, you are not being neutral, but are contributing to the success of the thing you refuse to name and condemn.

Our other senior players all stepped up to cover. Whitehead, Wighton, Paps, Hodgo, Sia, Croker all played very well.raiderskater wrote: ↑May 4, 2019, 5:05 pmI think that's the key point, all those players out and we're still pulling it off, love it.Billy Walker wrote: ↑May 4, 2019, 5:04 pmYeah good players across the park - I love that you take BJ, Tarps, Raps and Bateman out and the effort and quality remains.
