Williams or Sezer?

As mentioned in the game day thread, the answer to dropping Williams isn't to bring Sezer back. You don't replace **** with something even more ****. And as the last couple of years have clearly shown us, Aidan Sezer is complete ****. His form at Mounties hasn't been up to scratch either.

If we're dropping, Ata deserves a run and I'd be really interested to see how he goes given how he's played this year.

This is one of the worst double dows ive seen. Youre wrong as were all others who backed williams. Pack it up and move it on.

This might be hard to grasp EDIT my good man, but Williams having a bad game doesn't equal to Sezer being good and deserving to play first grade.

My favourite part of afgkdjtjfjfjdj is that now that Williams had had an extended spell in FG and has completely stunk it up he wants to pretend like he hasn't spent 3 seasons talking about him like he's the second coming of Christ

It can’t go on, by all means play Hingano if the coach thinks he’s up to it defensively, but this 2019 team is trying to win on the back of defence and you can’t do that with Sam Williams

I mean after all, on The GH it's that simple right. Your halfback needs to be picked on his defensive capabilites.

1. Play a good defender at halfback
2. Don't worry about his qualities as an actual halfback

Even his one positive contribution to the game took a cowboy stinker.

One of the problems across the team is a lack of communication. Even our better players just do stuff and hope it works. There is no bodies in motion, no players chasing the ball, following through etc. So I am don't like to really bag individual players out for poor attack because... well its been an issue since stick got here, maybe even longer. When a player is on or in good form individual brilliance can win us games

But i cant be copping that terrible defense from him. All halfbacks will miss a tackle occasionally but Williams is just bad at every aspect of defense imo

Then hopefully he gets home sick and we try again, and we keep trying until we find one I guess

Williams is statistically the worst defensive halfback in the competition and his attack has become inept. I was fine with him keeping his place while the team was winning but we've now lost 4 of our last 5 and he has been a significant reason for our struggles. It's time for a change. Obviously I think Sezer is the best option but Hingano has been great in Canterbury Cup this season and if Sezer's cards are marked, I wouldn't be opposed to him getting a crack.
