If you want to keep running your Sezer agenda though you're more than welcome to - it doesn't change the fact that he's garbage, despite being on twice the salary our current 7 is.

Nup. Hodgo was great today. Good service from dummy half. Didn't try to over play it.

*bump*

It seems Wayne Bennett isn't a fan of Hodgo's kicking...

‘Just don’t **** do it’: Wayne Bennett’s brutal spray revealed

The BBC has released a 70-minute look at the Great Britain Lions’ tour of Papua New Guinea and New Zealand in 2019 and we get to see the mastercoach deliver both barrels to Canberra Raiders hooker Josh Hodgson at a training session. Obviously frustrated with his number nine’s penchant for putting the ball on his boot, Bennett delivers a withering spray at Hodgson in front of his teammates.

“Don’t kick the ball,” Bennett says. “Just don’t **** do it, mate. I’ve got two good kickers there, I want them to kick the **** ball.”

The spiral of silence refers to the idea that when people fail to speak, the price of speaking rises. As the price to speak rises, still fewer speak out, which further causes the price to rise, so that fewer people yet will speak out, until a whole culture or nation is silenced. This is what happened in Germany.

If you do not speak, you are not being neutral, but are contributing to the success of the thing you refuse to name and condemn.

To be fair, Hodgo put in a few shockers this season (kicking into legs on the 4th is never a good look), but yeah I don't think Bennett walked away from that job with an enhanced reputation.

That team did have some quality players. I'd have DCE and Munster over Cleary and Walker Any day.

How he coaches GB to a loss to PNG, selects Blake Austin on the wing beats me

I think that’s the key point. In Munster, DCE, Gagai, Welch and Papalli, Queensland had a core of excellent players to work around.

NSW over complicates their attack and has too many options with the ball.

Fittlers selection policy was gross.

Gutho and Jack in the centres? Jack was 5/8 of the year.

Play Crichton and bloody gangers in the centres.

A 4 forward bench? Eeewww

To be fair, Queensland should've won Origin last year too, but lost to a late try to Teddy which some call questionable.

NSW could very well be looking at two series losses in a row against "the worst Origin team in history".

Long may Freddie reign.

There's been a tendency for years now for NSW to make asinine selections

In this instance, starting with selecting the coach.
