Had our chance and didn't take it. Hopefully we can make it close.

Re: 2019 Rd 2 V Storm: Game Day
Is Sezer, once, JUST ONCE, capable of rolling the **** ball into the in goal for a repeat set?

And that's the game... And maybe we should focus on ball handling for this week's training..

I just hope we hold it together, we don’t need a cricket score right now

That's game
A bit unlucky in a sense but the halves just didn't create enough in their 20, or even build pressure

61st min Raiders bomb their chance and Kaufusi tears up field... Vunivalu almost gets away.
TRY STORM to Asofa-Solomona. No double movement, clearly. That was an awful two minutes for Canberra. Smith converts.
Storm 22-4

Re: 2019 Rd 2 V Storm: Game Day
I’m pretty proud of the boys still. Still a thousand percent better than last season
We’ll win a lot more than we lose this season if we play with the attitude we have tonight. Just need to polish a few small things

Other teams would be more likely to scramble and stop that. Raiders don’t scramble.

We (supposedly) know the ball is going up for Wighton to knock it back. Yet no one from the inside is there to collect? That’s poor.

Those are the little things Storm would eat up. We also had numbers on the right side earlier in the set and couldn't make anything of it

The 5 day vs 8 day turn around was always going to show at this stage of the game

Re: 2019 Rd 2 V Storm: Game Day
You’re all overlooking the obvious. Was the bounce unlucky? Yes. Was it the wrong play? Of course it was. Sezer should’ve rolled it and forced a repeat. You win games with sustained pressure. We try to score off every play.

Re: 2019 Rd 2 V Storm: Game Day
Whitehead has been pretty flat today, I'm not sure him being in the line for attack is helping much, we have always looked better with the ball going to Croker.

And exactly why putting down all their success to the having the big 3 is the dumbest argument in the history of mankind.Canberra Milk wrote: ↑March 22, 2019, 6:23 pmThose are the little things Storm would eat up. They scrap for every single ball on every single **** play.

Re: 2019 Rd 2 V Storm: Game Day
Can someone answer this question.. why was Wighton ever moved from centre? He isn’t the player he was early in his career.

Bateman is a really, really good rugby league player. Even better than I could’ve possibly wished for

Not sure why this is even a question right now... LIke out of all the problems we showed today, Wighton not being left at centre is your target of convo?

I’m a big papilii fan but he has got to realize when to get down low when he has the ball in his own half for a quick play the ball against standing in tackles
