I took the liberty of penciling in a raiders minor premiership for each of the rick brigade.

Who here honestly believes the 2019 Raiders are better then the 2018 Raiders man for man.

We've lost Boyd, Paulo, Austin and have Rapana out injured.

We've gain CHuNK, JBateman, Sutton and have a bunch of very handy, young forwards.

Is this squad capable of making the 8 ? I'll say yes but I'm not sure or convinced !!

I've picked knights and raiders to sneak into the 8 at the expense of broncos and storm. More wishful thinking than anything.

I think we need a matt's match-up for 2018 vs 2019.

With Rapana and Oldfield both fit I would rate this team better, but week 1 it isn't.

I think the Knights are going to be way worse than people think. Still a very weak forward pack and a talented young player in his second year but now defending in front line. Bottom 4

Cowboys and Raiders to improve with only one breaking into the Eight. Warriors to slide right out and Kearney sacked before the start of 2020

I actually think we are a much better team this year. We lost 9 games last year after being in the lead at some stage after 65 minutes. Poor management or simply not being fit enough I think it was a little of both. But having a more nibble team should allow better scramble late in games and turning half of those losses and we are playing finals comfortably.

Losing Hodgo for as long as we did was a bigger loss than Rapana for the first 4-6 weeks. Losing Wighton for the 2nd half of the season wasn’t helpful. Although our injuries weren’t really that bad.

I am going to go out on a limb and say 4th.

10th, but with a few injuries it could get nasty.

Son, we live in a world that has forums, and those forums have to be guarded by Mods. Who's gonna do it? You? You, Nickman? I have a greater responsibility than you can possibly fathom. You weep for Lucy, and you curse GE. You have that luxury. You have the luxury of not knowing what I know -- that GE’s moderation, while tragic, probably saved lives; and my existence, while grotesque and incomprehensible to you, keeps threads on track and under the appropriately sized, highlighted green headings.
You want moderation because deep down in places you don't talk about at parties, you want me on that forum -- you need me on that forum. We use words like "stay on topic," "use the appropriate forum," "please delete." We use these words as the backbone of a life spent defending something. You use them as a punch line. I have neither the time nor the inclination to explain myself to a man who rises and sleeps under the blanket of the very moderation that I provide and then questions the manner in which I provide it. I would rather that you just said "thank you" and went on your way. Otherwise, I suggest you get a green handle and edit a post. Either way, I don't give a DAMN what you think about moderation.

I'd say it's more of a Queenslander thing.

I'd say we will end up between 10th-12th. Our small forward pack will be the reason.

Roosters, Broncos, Rabbits top 4.

Too many factors to make anything other than a wild guess on the rest of the top 8.

Still another hour to submit your predictions here:
https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/SN36ZGQ

So far the Roosters are clear favourites for the minor premiership. Eels predicted to receive another spoon.

The results are in:

1. Roosters
2. Rabbitohs
3. Broncos
4. Storm
5. Panthers
6. Dragons
7. Raiders
8. Sharks

9. Knights
10. Cowboys
11. Warriors
12. Titans
13. Tigpies
14. Sea Eagles
15. Bulldogs
16. Eels

Roosters were a long way ahead of everyone else.
Rabbitohs, Broncos, Storm, Panthers were quite close.
There was a drop off to the next group of Dragons, Raiders, Sharks, Knights and Cowboys.
Then a big drop off to the Warriors sitting clear by themselves.
Titans, Tigpies, Sea Eagles were close then a big drop off to the Dogs and Eels.
