So when he gives an interview, that's a Kockenspiel....

Average metres after contact? Klock45...

When he puts that right foot step on someone and leaves them standing still, that's a Klockstand...

At half-time he's earnt his Klockwork Orange...

The spiral of silence refers to the idea that when people fail to speak, the price of speaking rises. As the price to speak rises, still fewer speak out, which further causes the price to rise, so that fewer people yet will speak out, until a whole culture or nation is silenced. This is what happened in Germany.

If you do not speak, you are not being neutral, but are contributing to the success of the thing you refuse to name and condemn.

I think simply The Klok works well.

The Klok chimes into the backline.
The Klok catches the Cherry-Evans bomb with his two hands in the 5 past 11 position.
The Klok rings Martin Taupau's bell, cleaning him up in cover defence.
The Klok has all the time in the world to return the Cherry-Evans grubber 100 metres to score a length of the field try.
Look at the smile on the face of The Klok, after he scores that try to bring up his hat trick in the first half against the Sea Eagles.

All these hilarious puns roll off the tongue so readily!

Agree, give him a 5 year contract and keep him away from being lured to Brisbane. (He would surely be on Brisbane’s list now for when Boyd retires)

He’s so great. So important to have decent humans at the club as well as decent players.

Yeah TR touched on this a few days ago with Croker, but as a dad with a young son who's starting to get into footy, this stuff matters so much more than i thought it would. When my son and i are kicking the ball around at the park and he pretends to be CNK, i dont feel conflicted and can tell him stories like this to explain how he's not just a talented player, but also a really good person

'Biggest gentleman': Canberra Raiders fullback Charnze Nicoll-Klokstad gives fan amazing experience

Charnze Nicoll-Klokstad wasted no time endearing himself to the Canberra Raiders faithful with his performances this season, and the fullback has won more hearts with his amazing off-field work.

The generous 23-year-old went to great lengths on Tuesday to give one fan an extremely special experience off his own bat.

Its the glaring difference between AFL players and NRL players.

Living in perth dont get much NRL to say the least. My wife follows Port Adelaide in the AFL and when we visited Adelaide we were able to watch a training session then everyone came over to sign stuff etc (tho behind a fence). My trip to Canberra (3 years ago now) i was able to see a training session in which everyone had a good chat with me and the family. Happy to take pictures and sign my top. Even had Josh Papalii come out and give my son some signed training gear. Being able to have a chat to Blake about his knee and Aiden about his broken cheek bone (if i remember). Telling Josh i would see him in Perth when the Aussies played NZ (about 7 months later) and he said we will see if i get picked. Sure enough he did and we went to the training session and he walked up to me and said. Well you are a man of your word and shook my hand and asked my son how all the gear he gave us was going and had a good chat with us.

You dont see the AFL guys doing that much for the fans

Canberra Raiders fullback Charnze Nicoll-Klokstad's touching visit to sick fan

A Raiders fan got the surprise of his life when he sent Canberra fullback Nicoll-Klokstad a direct message.

The fan was asking if Nicoll-Klokstad could send his cousin a message to "lift her spirits" while battling pneumonia in hospital.

Top bargain buys for 2019

3. Charnze Nicoll-Klokstad (Raiders) $105,000

Once the understudy to twinkle toes Roger Tuivasa-Scheck, the Raiders snared an absolute bargain here signing Nicoll-Klokstad for about a tenth of the price. While RTS is on a deal worth $1.1 million, CNK is on $105,000 this year. And Charnze has got him covered in the running metres department, blasting out 2,634m in 2019 to lead every player in the NRL. Throw in 54 tackle busts and you can see why Ricky Stuart has to pick him in the no.1 jumper every week.

Having CNK at 105k is a bigger bargain than Sivo on 75k imo

On a similar note. When I had pneumonia and was in Canberra Hospital, Todd Carney dropped by to see whether he could help me by cleaning out my grog cabinet.

It is nice to be able to be full of smiles because now, probably 99% of the time, if a Raider is in the news it's because they did something good, not something bad.

Totally agree. So much better than having to manage supporting a player on the field while also knowing he isn’t a great person off it.
