Memory: Josh McCrone butchering about a 4 on 1 overlap on the stroke of halftime against Manly, he kicked the ball so hard it was unbelievable. I was at that game with 7 of the worst ***** i know, after we all looked at each other in absolute disbelief for a period, and we all laughed so much. Good times.

Season: Difficult to say... 1987 was amazing, so was 2016, but has to be 1989. 1994... I was overseas so I can't really say I enjoyed it like other seasons.

Memory: Going to the SCG for the first Grand Final in 1987. 1989 Grand Final... then going back to the Mawson Raiders club... and the QLC afterwards and not getting home until 5am. The other thing was taking over the Richmond Club Hotel for the 2016 Preliminary Final. Sadly, not the result we wanted.

Wow, we're almost identical. My only differences are:

Current Player: Nick Cotric as my current favourite although Hodgo is close.
Memory: There are so many great ones...Daley scoring to basically put the game to bed in 1994 GF, then later on the Mal intercept and after the game going to the club at Mawson which was bouncing. Honorable mentions to being there live on the old hill lawn when we smacked the Broncos 26-0 and witnessing Mullins score that double chip and chase try, and Mal's ankle tap on Mick Neill in the 89 GF. So many good ones.

a few questions are difficult.. for instance the recruit I was most excited about was probably Orford at time of recruitment, but obviously not my favourite over the course of their career. Also there are obviously more influential players not mentioned, but they were just before my time

Give it a few weeks and this needs a sequel GE. I'm thinking your 2nd favourite player, coach etc. It had me thinking even harder, although I think Wiki is my lock for 2nd favourite player of all time. The rest could be a real noodle scratcher and throw up some cool answers/memories.

Retired Player: Lesley Vainikolo - I'd have that man's babies if it were physically possible.
Coach: Matt Elliott - for his Super League and Challenge Cup wins at Bradford.
Game: Every one over the last two years that wasn't lost on the hooter.
Season: 2016. I thought the Raiders were going to be good for a while.
Junior: Marc Herbert - makes me feel better about every other player.
Recruit: You've got to love getting Rapana for virtually nothing. Phenomenal player.
Recruit that never happened: Alex Walmersley. You'd have loved him - everything Shannon Boys should have been.
Memory: Losing to London Broncos in the Super League world club thing. It was the first time I'd heard of the Raiders and the first win for a UK club after about 500 games of that infernal competition.

Game: The '89 Grand Final is arguably the greatest game of all time. The '94 grand final is arguably our peak performance. The '87 Minor Semi vs Souths was also a fun game to watch.

Recruit that never happened: Cameron Smith would have transformed this club's fortunes over the past decade.
