During one of the games over the weekend (might have been ours, but not sure it was), a commentator (Voss or Smith) mentioned that we had signed a 17 year old who is "as impressive as David Fifita". Any ideas? Apparently a gun second rower.

That surprises me given how he flaked out on us at the 11th hour last time. If he does come you'd think sammy would be moving on. Especially with Sezer digging his heels in (as he is entitled to do).

I quite like Jacks as a back up half. I think he's got some real talent and upside
If indeed Sezer and Williams are gone in 2020, i'd be pretty happy with him as our primary back up.
Obviously he'd be surplus to requirements if Sezer did dig his heels in as suggested by Zim, or that Williams is re-signed

I'd say his sense of self worth has diminished since then. He's was a rising star at Melbourne and is now shown to be an average back up half.

Ryan Matterson wanting out of the Tigers. Falling out with the coach. You would take him on his current deal but I imagine he'd be seeking an upgrade at his new club. Also a red flag that he's been shown the door at 2 previous clubs so might be damaged goods from an attitude perspective.

Matterson on about $350k. He's one of the better back rowers in the comp so probably worth about $500-$600k. I imagine another team would happily take up his current deal and offer an upgrade.

Not sure how i feel about that if true. Do you think its to play williams with sezer and move jack to right centre? We lose a lot of strike if thats the case
