Hingano is gone and Williams hasn't been re-signed yet so it's not completely out of the question we'll keep Sezer for a year longer to finish his contract.

I suspect we'll lose one of BJ or Sezer to Pay at the Dogs as well as Rapana to Japana Rugby

It would be a good signing but it seems like he would be a bit expensive given the talk is we are having to let players go to keep Bateman. He wouldn't be much cheaper than BJ over his whole contract.

Why would he be expensive? He has played a handful of games of St George and hasn't exactly set the world on fire. Would rather we find a way to accommodate BJ for another couple years and lose Sezer and Rapana (upgrade Bateman) to do so...

He is very highly rated so would carry a premium for a player with his experience, and if he develops as expected he would be looking at an upgrade very quickly.

Certainly if we nabbed him, between him and the Shields fella people are talking up here, you'd hope we might have pretty good centre to replace beej with

What the club does with Cotric will be interesting. He flashed as a dominant game breaking centre in his time there but i think he's already a stud winger and for now i think i favour trying to find someone like this Lomax/Sheilds and try and develop him and Simo on that side, and let Croker and Cotric do their thing on the other.

He's had a bit of a bad year with injury and I'd hoped we were bringing someone in with a bit more experience but he's certainly worth a punt given his background.

Personally i think that's tremendous.
I really hope they pay him top dollar

1. because he **** deserves a nice hefty pay day to end his career
2. because im not sure how much he has left in the tank
3. I think he's a good winger without Beej but i think what took him over the top as the best winger in the world at his peak was that 1-2 punch.

Hopefully those two lads have one more special performance in them together and they can go down in Raiders history as absolute legends

I think zac lomax would be a tremendous signing. Largely based on the hype as i havent seen a lot of him but also due to the fact that the club has had a stellar run of developing outstanding young backs over the past couple of years... think cotric and Simmonson..

Rapana has earned the right to go where ever he wants and retain raiders ledgend status imo

That young kiwi centre looked really good in the GF. There are 1 or 2 forwards that looked good too - Lazarus esp.

I think you lose about half of them.

I thought it was just Leilua and Rapana. Makes sense to sign Lomax if we already have Simonsson, Cotric and Croker. It's surely a done deal.

Shame to lose either of those players though. It's inevitable things will change, especially to retain the likes of Bateman, but Leilua is still such a weapon for us. The bulging disk in his neck is a long-term worry though.

As far as Lomax goes, Dragons are the perfect poaching target. They can't keep all of them - Ravalawa, Aiken, Lomax Pereina, Saab, Sailor, Dufty.

If we poach a winger, it's Cotric to centre, if we poach a centre, Cotric stays on the left wing.

Make good sence to me. Lomax looks really good with ball in hand, but needs more work defensively
