Agreed. Wasn't there some sort of rule made up by the NRL that was along the lines of the NRL being able to stretch a team's salary cap at their discretion in order to be able to attract guys like a Sonny Bill Williams or Israel Folau from another code to the NRL? I know it hasn't been used yet, but it seems counter productive to that rule to include transfer fees to the salary cap if you're going to have that in place.

The main problem I have with the NRL is there is seemingly no logic or consistency in their rules (unless of course their logic is to assist the big clubs). So many rules they introduce seem completely counteractive to another rule or initiative they've previously introduced... you could say that they just make it up as they go but it's hard to believe that an organisation of their size could be so incompetent.

I know Foran has had big injuries and for that reason I dont think he will ever get back to what he was. Definitely not worth the coin he is been paid.

He wasnt awful at Tigz. If he comes, lets hope he has developed as well as Lachlan Burr did - Warriors criminally underused him on the weekend. He was their best forward in Rd 1

An incredible player and Id love to have him back don't get me wrong ,it's just that if we ever find that sort of cash it needs to be invested into the spine...Surely?

I'd give him a million. It's not even about his playing ability alone anymore. The UK strategy is a good one but we need to establish ourselves as a credible player in the NRL player market.

Yeah good point... I was and still am one of his biggest fans but I still don't think we are going anywhere until we have at least one elite half and a pretty decent upgrade at the back (no offense to CNK )
