Canberra Raiders utility Ata Hingano wants to return to first grade and stay there

Canberra Raiders utility Ata Hingano is sick of teetering on the edge of first grade. So when the 21-year-old returns from a shoulder reconstruction early next season he wants to come back into Canberra's starting side and stay there.

"Some of the boys joked around that I’m only contracted to international teams," Hingano said. "Unfortunately I've had surgery twice within four months but I don't think any player goes into a game thinking they're going to get injured or try to be cautious of what they do in a game.

If only he wasn’t out for the first 6 games.
He could have slotted straight into Rapana’s spot on the wing.

Our coach will probably try to plug him in at the front row and everyone will declare the guy cant play.
