Would you prefer these as the Raiders jerseys?
I’m a bit of a traditionalist... and know the home jersey celebrates the 1989 premiership jersey... but I reckon the modern training shirt designs are amazing. Simple poll... would you prefer the training shirts as the on field jerseys? I’ll label the options as traditional and modern.

No. I don't like the way the blue and green are mixed in like that.
Home jersey would look much, much better if it were the lime green though.

Anything that is dominantly lime green! No need for the white, yellow, dark green, blue dominant jerseys.... same with the off field gear

Given you're so passionate about them being bad, what would you suggest they do instead?Rick wrote: ↑November 16, 2018, 10:09 am I hate the Apple green of the home jersey.

The polos and training shirts are designed like this because they want to sell people the type of design that they feel comfortable wearing. People wear New Balance and other branded shirts as they like their design.

I’m a traditionalist. I think the new home jersey looks pretty shmick. Not overly sold on the training gear this year but good to mix it up.
Re: Would you prefer these as the Raiders jerseys?
i would but most would not, i like the busy look like some effort went into them, the actual jerseys look plain and quickly designed.

For a start I propose they get someone with an ounce of talent to design them. If their target audience is an elderly white male tourist from the USA who is going to tuck this into his cargo shorts whilst wearing white sand shoes and a backpack then I think they have nailed the brief.hrundi89 wrote:Given you're so passionate about them being bad, what would you suggest they do instead?Rick wrote: ↑November 16, 2018, 10:09 am I hate the Apple green of the home jersey.

Re: Would you prefer these as the Raiders jerseys?
I like both the traditional ones by a long way.
I don't like wearing the fully green stuff so i'm more likely to buy the away jersey if anything. However the home one mimicking the 1989 jumper particularly the sleeves and white V collar are decent and one of the better home jerseys i've seen.
I did like that GB tour jersey that Gareth posted the other day, that was very good.

We continue to **** about with blokes that are part of some fraternity. It's infuriating.

If I had to choose it would be both home jerseys

The spiral of silence refers to the idea that when people fail to speak, the price of speaking rises. As the price to speak rises, still fewer speak out, which further causes the price to rise, so that fewer people yet will speak out, until a whole culture or nation is silenced. This is what happened in Germany.
If you do not speak, you are not being neutral, but are contributing to the success of the thing you refuse to name and condemn.

Yes I did. I suggested they get someone with an ounce of talent to design them. Gazzaf comes to mind, his designs are mint.hrundi89 wrote:So you didn't answer my question.Rick wrote: ↑November 16, 2018, 11:50 amFor a start I propose they get someone with an ounce of talent to design them. I really like the 2019 home and away strips, I wish they would use the really light lime green, lime the original 1982 strips!
Re: Would you prefer these as the Raiders jerseys?
The green on the home and away strip should match - not sure of that darker green BS. You cant have the green machine in 2 different shades; embarrassing flaw from the dept who designed these
