Good on him for working on a career outside footy. Have to say though it doesn't reflect well on this aspect of the NRL as a whole when somebody doing an online course in graphic design is in your top 13 achievers.

Genuinely, good on 'em.

They should also name a sitting around playing Xbox team of the year and see who wins (at footy). Play it as a GF curtain raiser.

Lui had a good year. I'm glad he's signed on again because he's a genuinely good player for what we need.

That the academic bar is not set very high in the NRL.

To be fair studying when you have a demanding job isn't easy at the best of times, let alone when you are earning huge money already.

No doubt. Same goes for anybody working full time really. As you say, Motivation to do is fairly low for because of the amounts they currently earn. Post playing career though there's only so many jobs as a coach or Fox League commentator going around.

Is it the study topic or are you assuming it's a short course or something?

Firstly, let me say I’m all for someone trying to educate and better themselves. Full kudos for Dunamis achieving a higher level of education and qualification.

But for the NRL to have a team of ‘Acedemics’ that features the below gentleman, the bar is definitely set low.

If in doubt, please wait until 4.20.

Congratulations to Josh Dugan on making the Kindergarten Academic team of the year.

Now he knows his ABC’s, next time won’t you be injured like me.

Blake Ferguson impressed his mate made the Accadacca team of the year.

It's all relative. He's trying to better himself for his future career so good on him, I say.

Be fair Gangers, Dugan was the highest in his Kindergarten class. Towered over them.
