Well that's not good..

I don't want Joe to lose the aggression at all.

Not even a little bit. As i said, in a post Alex McKinnon world, you're just not going to get a verdict on a tackle like this.

Canberra Raiders without Joe Tapine for two weeks

The Canberra Raiders will be without New Zealand international Joe Tapine for two weeks after the NRL judiciary found him guilty of dangerous contact on Tuesday night.

"I wouldn't trade him for anyone, his aggression's what makes him such a good player," Jarrod Croker said. "He's obviously a very skilful player, but quite an aggressive player and he's been really good for us over the past couple of years so I don't want to take that away from him.

I don't think it even deserved a penalty. Sure he lifted his legs but the bloke had his forearms on the ground. Doesn't a dangerous tackle have to actually be dangerous?

Yep. That's a bs suspension IMO.

I’m OK on this charge if it’s consistently applied by the review committee.

All three of Tapine’s suspensions this year have seen identical incidents for other players go unpunished.

Tapine is becoming a consistent repeat offender. I don't have a problem with him going after the legs of an opposition player, it is the lift which gets them into a possible dangerous position that he needs to remove from his game.
