Canberra Raiders reach 20,000 members!

The Canberra Raiders have officially reached 20,000 members, with proud sponsor Denman Prospect jumping on board to help the club break through the 20,000 barrier for the first time in club history.

The Raiders officially closed their membership for their season on June 30 (Saturday), with Denman Prospect purchasing the remaining 13 memberships required to reach 20,000 ahead of Saturday night's match against the Broncos.

Shouldn't count if a sponsor buys the memberships

why not listen to the 20000 members n ask them whether the coach should go!!

They couldn’t care less about their members, just happy to have their $$$.

Well it's obvious that a lot of their members are now sponsors.

Great to see the level of support for the team. So how about the team works out how to use their more than adequate talents to reward us with a few wins. Totally ironic to ‘celebrate’ reaching 20,000 by throwing away yet another close one. It feels like a big slap in the face to Canberra.
Surely someone among the coaching staff can sort this out - maybe you should get those 4 psychologists in Ricky!

Does this include the pet memberships?

I love how dodgy the clubs are to get their membership numbers up. An associate of mine let's just call him WK used to be close with Trevor Thurling. Anyhow the Dogs sent Trevor a complimentary membership as he was a former player, while he was still playing for the Raiders!

My son had a great time tonight meeting the players in Sydney. Great work by the club. Only a small amount of time but such a big deal for the fans. Some really nice fellas in that group.

Must say well done to the club. Had a ball attending the Sydney Members function. Passed my 6 month old to all the players who were happy to take photos and hold her, except Cotric cause he doesn’t trust himself holding babies. I told him just treat her like a Steeden and you will be fine!

Only disappointment was Sticky not being out there with the team. Obviously a busy time for the coach having not long arrived

If we can get a Oldfield/Shillington side by side that'll be great....

I swear boys and girls..they are brothers.

Mediocre on field performance from Sticky but no one can knock what he has done for us off the field. Great job
