Watching Norman last night I have to say Ive changed my mind. If his head is in the right space he would be great for us. I thought his passing, kicking and game management were, apart from the last 6 minutes, very good.
Just the cure we need for the problems we have with Austin. Defence another question.
Sounds like a Raiders half to me
This made me laugh out loud. Sadly it’s also very true
He seems like a really nice guy so its hard to say but I won't miss him running around in green. He is just too loose in defence and any opposing offence that is NRL standard can pick him apart over the course of 80 minutes for at least one meat pie.
Also how many times do we seen him slip over when he decides to run its maddening.

That was probably the worst performance for the Raiders in some time. Certainly in the last 10 or so years. Every try was his fault pretty much.
Defending next to him is a nightmare too. How many times must Tapine just seem the man outside of him fly out the line like a maniac as the play goes around Austin.

Even McCrone when he was McCroning all over the place didn’t make those kind of defensive errors.

I may get frustrated with players from time to time, but by gosh this guy needs to go. Now.
Gina Riley: Oh, come on, John. That’s a bit old hat, the corrupt IOC delegate. John Clarke: Old hat? Gina, in the scientific world when they see that something is happening again and again and again, repeatedly, they don’t call it old hat. They call it a pattern.
Hey Greeneyed, can we rename this thread the “Sack Austin” thread please? It accompanies the “Sack Ricky” thread and we can hammer Austin on here to get our frustration out!
Its the Mole, so take it with a grain of salt, but...
Canberra Raiders Blake Austin close to joining English club Warrington Wolves
English club Warrington is close to signing classy Raiders five-eighth Blake Austin for next season. Several Sydney clubs were interested in his services but it is believed a long-term deal at Warrington will prove the decisive factor.
