Alan Tongue looks like he’s finished for the night for the All Stars... he’s up in the grandstand! Taking up a spot in the Bar TV commentary.

67th min TRY ALL STARS And they’re carving it up. There are some good young players in the All Stars team, but I’m sure the Blues won’t have been taking this match so lightly so as to give up this score.

I ran into Troy Thompson after the game. I've often though Alan Tongue must be the nicest Raiders player ever, but Troy Thompson is right up there. Never fails to stop and chat. Just a very good bloke.

Drought doesn't stop former Canberra Raiders prop Michael Weyman from helping others get Pie in the Sky

The lush, green grass of Seiffert Oval is a far cry from Michael Weyman's drought-affected farm back in Moruya. But that didn't stop the former Canberra Raiders prop from selflessly raising money for those less fortunate in the Pie in the Sky game on Friday night.

The game raised money for charities Treehouse and Respite Care for Queanbeyan, pitting an All Stars team featuring the likes of Weyman, Jason Croker, Ken Nagas, Alan Tongue and Tom Learoyd-Lahrs up against Terry Campese's Queanbeyan Blues.
