I thought Gubb was rubbish last night, commentators(Roach!)said the pass he dropped was terrible when we were hot on attack but I looked back on it and there was very little wrong with the pass, a first grader shouldn't spill that, I'd rather see Knight or Guler get a run

Blocker has no idea.
When Hingano came on to replace Austin I heard Blocker say -
" I'm not sure what Stuart is going to do here with his reshuffle, Hingano is primarily a dummy half"
Well Block old boy..he's a half..and you so called experts should know that.

Well tbf, Ricky confirmed he is a dummy half in the presser. Not that old Block would've known that.

Son, we live in a world that has forums, and those forums have to be guarded by Mods. Who's gonna do it? You? You, Nickman? I have a greater responsibility than you can possibly fathom. You weep for Lucy, and you curse GE. You have that luxury. You have the luxury of not knowing what I know -- that GE’s moderation, while tragic, probably saved lives; and my existence, while grotesque and incomprehensible to you, keeps threads on track and under the appropriately sized, highlighted green headings.
You want moderation because deep down in places you don't talk about at parties, you want me on that forum -- you need me on that forum. We use words like "stay on topic," "use the appropriate forum," "please delete." We use these words as the backbone of a life spent defending something. You use them as a punch line. I have neither the time nor the inclination to explain myself to a man who rises and sleeps under the blanket of the very moderation that I provide and then questions the manner in which I provide it. I would rather that you just said "thank you" and went on your way. Otherwise, I suggest you get a green handle and edit a post. Either way, I don't give a DAMN what you think about moderation.
Re: 2018 Rd 11 V Dragons: Teams and Previews
- yeah I expect so... but more because we'll be nil and Sezer may just kick a field goal at the end to prove he can do something.

No that's my point. He might actually kick one in this game despite having never kicked one before. It will be progress.
Re: 2018 Rd 11 V Dragons: Teams and Previews
The Dragons can't kick a field goal?
Ata Mariota’s #1 fan. Bless his cotton socks.
Re: 2018 Rd 11 V Dragons: Teams and Previews
If I was putting my life on someone to kick a field goal, it would be Ben Hunt every day of the week over Sezer
And twice on Saturdays

I'd put my life on anyone to kick a field goal vs Sezer.

He made 100m+ in 24mins. Even if you do think the drop was his fault that's hardly a rubbish performance.kiwi raider wrote: ↑May 14, 2018, 8:15 am I thought Gubb was rubbish last night, commentators(Roach!)said the pass he dropped was terrible when we were hot on attack but I looked back on it and there was very little wrong with the pass, a first grader shouldn't spill that, I'd rather see Knight or Guler get a run

A shake-up in players positions and some new blood to add some spark. Raiders were utter rubbish for 60 mins of last night's game. Insipid, listless and directionless display punctured by a couple of good individual performances. Basically, what one expects with a clueless coach bereft of ideas.
It's a simple game; tackle, back-up, pass, hold the ball! What did I say? "Hold the bloody ball!!"

I don't think there'll be any changes coming into a game against the dragons.
Blooding players against a team that's expected to do a number on you is not normally done.

Canberra Raiders five-eighth Blake Austin set to play
Scan results have cleared Blake Austin of a serious ankle injury and he will likely be named in Ricky Stuart's squad on Tuesday and given every chance to play the St. George Illawarra Dragons at Mudgee's Glen Willow Stadium on Sunday. Meanwhile Ata Hingano admits he wasn't quite ready to slot into the halves against the Sharks.
"I wouldn’t say it’s hard [to find rhythm] but just the whole lead-up to this game I always was at hooker," Hingano said.

That surprises me and I doubt it’s accuracy, I don’t remember any notable runs and he’s down for 33 kick return metres??? Did he field a kick?zim wrote: ↑May 14, 2018, 3:14 pmHe made 100m+ in 24mins.
