When Papalii re-signs, that is, puts the signature on the contact, I’m looking forward to a big mea culpa. Of the sort we are still waiting for re Glenn Stewart.

Oh GE.. What am I to be wrong about? I just want an offical release rather than believe nobodies yodelling "done deal" from the mountain top. I stated that what some said had "gone away" was still on the cards and that it seems to me Papa is considering options, that is all, just like Norman is still a viable option regardless of what Ricky tells us, he also claims he can coach, so let's not listen to him, ok? I have never said I want Papalii to leave, ai said of he did, I can live with it, but I would prefer he didn't. I just do not believe the company line as they often tell furphy's. Some would go as far to say I am the voice of supporters, merely seeking confirmation before one spunks their trunks.

I want success, just like you. I just don't trust losers.

Josh Papalii re-signs with the Canberra Raiders

Canberra Raiders enforcer Josh Papalii has re-signed with the Raiders, with the representative prop set to stay in Green for the next four seasons.

Papalii, 26, has signed a new four-year deal with the Green Machine, which sees him remain in Canberra until the end of the 2022 season.

"I love Canberra and I love the green jersey," Papalii said.

"This is my home and the Raiders have given me the opportunity to play in the NRL and I want to continue to repay them.

"Canberra is my home and this is the best place for me and my family to continue to live and for me to play my best footy."

"I want to thank all of the club's members and fans for their continued support and hopefully I can continue to represent you and the community."

Brilliant. Now he's finally been moved to his best spot he will be one the best middle forwards in the NRL. To lock him up from age 26 to 30 is a brilliant result.

Congratulations on getting this done at last. I wonder if the four year deal was the sticking point. Shannon Boyd said the Raiders only offered him 2 years and this was a factor in his move to the Titans. Glad to see we have kept our only current SOO player.

Finally some great news from the Club. Brilliant work getting this over the line, I'm sure he would have been in demand, he's been outstanding lately.

Hasn't let the contract stuff affect his on field performance and brought his SOO calibre play back to the Raiders less than 48 hours after playing on the biggest stage. I respect that.

Earlier in the year, i didn't really care whether he re-signed or not. He came back fat, unfit and looked disinterested and unprofessional. He's turned it around pretty quickly and I'm stoked to have him at our Club. Honestly, the only guy in our forward pack that looks threatening.

Great stuff Raiders. Done deal.

We have him playing really good in the middle now and the next four years are prime middle forward years. Beautiful.
