Sezer must have signed a contract to stay.

No one can blame Sezer. He is a world class half back , as demonstrated by that game earlier in the season, and that one other game in 2016. The cross field kick towards the end was epic, it’s not his fault that Cotric doesn’t have long enough arms to take the catch. Extend his contract now Ricky!

The spiral of silence refers to the idea that when people fail to speak, the price of speaking rises. As the price to speak rises, still fewer speak out, which further causes the price to rise, so that fewer people yet will speak out, until a whole culture or nation is silenced. This is what happened in Germany.

If you do not speak, you are not being neutral, but are contributing to the success of the thing you refuse to name and condemn.

I think he made one run in his second stint. We rely so heavily on outside backs making meters it made him invisible.

Sezer shocker but it showed how important Austin is too the team. He does a bit more organising which frees up Sezer to do what he does. This game Sezer had to do all the organising and more defence, then was buggered when we got the ball.

Sezers best games were when he took full control. No idea why he failed to do it at all tonight. He was playing way too off the cuff.

I fully agree. The only times we got aroll on tonight all came of the back of good runs by our outside backs. ****

Pretty disappointed...we should have won that. Obviously Austin going down changed things. Hingano really cost us when we had a roll on a few times... In saying that Sezer really needed to step up and that didn't happen

I am sooooooo sick of seeing us take the 2.. We can't defend a lead but we can score..why does Stuart keep persisting with this rubbish decision?? I hate watching any team take the 2. i said to my friend while we were watching I bet we lose now when we took the 2 before half time. Annnnnd you know what happened there. If we could defend I'd be happy with the 2. But we can't so go for 6 unless their is 1 minute left and we are up by 6!

They don’t learn. Kills our momentum on an almost weekly basis. I reckon Croker wants to pad his stats, some days he rushes in there ripping his headgear off before the whistle has come out of the refs mouth

We have a really good team if only we had consistent halves. Austin was great in the first half and we were 16-8 ahead. Sezer plays well and we win more often than not. The swing in the level of performance from our halves is unacceptable.

I actually don't care what happens with Sezer and Austin come contract time, stay or go I'm not sure we will win a premiership with them unless they take some responsibility for their own inconsistencies and after 3 years of waiting I'm doubting they will find it. With a whole swag of guys off contract Ricky has a chance to turn over some players and maybe try to get his halves issues remedied.

Sezer was absolutely awful today. It is his job to get us over the line and since forever with us, even going back a couple of years to his field goal that hit the posts and missed against one of the worst first grade sides in the NRL era with Newcastle. We have a dreadful record in close games for a reason.

Ricky has to sort it out with or without our current halves. No excuses.

I'm with you.

I can't remember a game where we took a shot for 2 in the first half and it made the difference at the end of the game. Crokes actually got overruled by Sticky on taking the 2nd one.
