Why bother? It'll be the same team as today and another insipid performance

@Finchy, think I’ve drawn some more inspiration from today’s game. Do you have a song request for ganger’s bonus material this week? No promises, but I’ll see what I can do.
P.S. Jack Johnson, Dave Matthews band etc. is not music. Choose something decent
P.P.S. And relatively well known. I’m not as hip to the kids as I once was...

If Whitehead is suspended, I’d play Wighton on the edge in the 2nd row.
His defence is definitely strong enough
He has experience defending at centre/6 so 12 shouldn’t be much different.
His mobility will serve us better than Ricky shoving Papalii back there.
Hopefully Whitehead is fine, but that’s what I’d do if not.

Out: Austin, Bateman, Whitehead (suspended).
Wighton is borderline for me. I have no trust with him under the high ball still, caught out of position regularly and his back line shifts are becoming a joke. He needs to learn to straighten instead of crowding his outside backs. Anyone know how Abbey is going in Mounties?
Also the first 20 minutes of every game is pretty much dictating the outcome this year. We need to start with Boyd and Paulo together to get the team rolling forward.
Due to the state of our season, time to start giving Murchie and Knight regular minutes in FG.

Your 100% right. Stuart doesn’t put it down to attitude, effort, skill level or fitness. He just believes we get outplayed now and so this team will stay no doubt and unfortunately we will come up against better teams than us and get out played and that is that.reptar wrote:Why bother? It's his responsibility to come up with the plans to stop this **** from happening. Instead, he pulls our only hooker from the field for no **** reason and puts Boyd on once the game is lost. I can just see Stuart's plan now. It'll be a smokescreen with Austin on the extended squad. And then game day, he plays! Then the Cowboys wouldn't plan to run at him. You can't adjust tactics during a game, can you?-PJ- wrote:Tumorlolo is going to run over Austin for fun.

I watched it up to when the journo's have their say. They didn't promote any Sticky interview and it didn't come on up to that time. I know this doesn't help.
Erin Molan said that Sterlo would be her Sunday Footy Show stand in host while she has the baby. Most thought JC got a rough sin bin deal except for Freddie who said he 'backed the refs'. I think this was with an eye to the SOO series.
My team for the Cowboys: Jack, Nick, JC, BJ, Rapa, Sezer, Hingano, Paulo, Havili, Sia, Whitehead, Tapine, Bateman, Garvey, Papali, Boyd, Lui.

It's a simple game; tackle, back-up, pass, hold the ball! What did I say? "Hold the bloody ball!!"

What about Bay's butcher?
Gina Riley: Oh, come on, John. That’s a bit old hat, the corrupt IOC delegate.
John Clarke: Old hat? Gina, in the scientific world when they see that something is happening again and again and again, repeatedly, they don’t call it old hat. They call it a pattern.

Three games every year I hate watching cause we seem to never win them and this is one of them. Cowboys in Townsville.
The other 2 are Cronulla in Canberra and Brisbane at Suncorp.
