Yep, I get it. We have struggled in defence for 18 months, let in over 40 points on Saturday, and the only change we make is to take the one player out of the middle who busts his ****, rain, hail or shine. Papalli is a beast, but lazy. This starting side in defensively weaker than the side that leaked 40 last week and is averaging leaking 24 points a game.

I’ll check the score in the paper on Sunday. Sorry Ricky, but this is a sick joke and you have to go.

Better adjust my score forecast for Saturday then. Thurston grows an extra leg when he plays us, he will have grown another knowing Austin is selected. He will be preping the Inside out, cut out, face ball and banana kick all this week in preparation

I'm shocked and appalled by everyone's lack of confidence this weekend.
The Cowboys bus might burst into flames, or the grandstand might collapse and the game cancelled. Have faith!

"Come one, Come all' to the Sticky free competition points give away. Simply target Austin early in the match, either left or right, it doesn't matter, and rack up a commanding lead. A Conga line of Cowboys players will be singing 'Give the ball to me JT, Give the ball to me JT'. There will be 12 players lined up on the left hand side of the field for the Cowboys (Raiders defensive right) and a lone prop taking a breather on their right. BJ will stay out on his man. Austin will again be isolated and we wave good bye to another 2 competition points.
It is almost as if Sticky wants to be sacked from the job, so that he can be paid out up to his 2020 money.

@Red don’t forget the other play. Wait for Havilii to be pulled once he hits his maximum amount of minutes he can play in a game. (I estimate 21 minutes this week) and Raiders will bring on their smallest halve to play in the middle and then you will have a nice front rower on halve play in front of the posts.

Because you need a specialist half on the bench to play replacement hooker. It's part of the winning formula.greeneyed wrote:Hingano is the worst performed option for the top 17... yet he keeps being selected. I don’t understand it.

I’m staying positive for this game because it is the only time I get too see the Raiders play live all year. Too much doubt and negativity on here atm... so I will stay off until after the game. Have a little Faith... Go the Raiders!!

I can't believe it's Round 8 and I'm already thinking who my 'second team' will be to follow in the finals this year. I had a soft spot for Newcastle, but that looks like it's out the window now.

God I'm just so damn dejected at the moment!
Did anyone watch Ricky on the Matty Johns Show the other night? When asked what the best attribute of his coaching was and he replied 'I really don't know'. I REALLY DON'T KNOW.
However, he said he is proud to say that he's still friends with some of the players he's coached. STILL FRIENDS. THAT'S IMPORTANT!
Honestly, this guy is making a mockery of our club. Why he refuses to make the calls that every single person can see need to be made, I just don't know. We are on a fast track to the wooden spoon.
Get rid of Austin now. He won't be here next year anyway. Get Hingano in the 6, get Garvey in the 14. Get guys to buy in to a team first culture and occasionally make a tackle.
Can anyone tell me what Papalii did last week to deserve a promotion to the starting side?
This might also seem completely ridiculous, but I'd love to see Beej have a go at 13. I feel like he could be a Lolo type player in the middle. Great footwork, huge upper body strength, great hands and skills. Been thinking about that a lot lately. Of course it'd never happen, but something has to give.
