Gina Riley: Oh, come on, John. That’s a bit old hat, the corrupt IOC delegate.
John Clarke: Old hat? Gina, in the scientific world when they see that something is happening again and again and again, repeatedly, they don’t call it old hat. They call it a pattern.

Son, we live in a world that has forums, and those forums have to be guarded by Mods. Who's gonna do it? You? You, Nickman? I have a greater responsibility than you can possibly fathom. You weep for Lucy, and you curse GE. You have that luxury. You have the luxury of not knowing what I know -- that GE’s moderation, while tragic, probably saved lives; and my existence, while grotesque and incomprehensible to you, keeps threads on track and under the appropriately sized, highlighted green headings.
You want moderation because deep down in places you don't talk about at parties, you want me on that forum -- you need me on that forum. We use words like "stay on topic," "use the appropriate forum," "please delete." We use these words as the backbone of a life spent defending something. You use them as a punch line. I have neither the time nor the inclination to explain myself to a man who rises and sleeps under the blanket of the very moderation that I provide and then questions the manner in which I provide it. I would rather that you just said "thank you" and went on your way. Otherwise, I suggest you get a green handle and edit a post. Either way, I don't give a DAMN what you think about moderation.

VIDEO: Canberra Raiders captain Jarrod Croker speaks about the clash with the South Sydney Rabbitohs

Raiders captain Jarrod Croker has claimed that the green machine have taken a lot of confidence from the previous couple of weeks as his side prepare to face the Rabbitohs in Gosford this weekend.

"Obviously you get a bit of confidence after a couple of wins but it's a big challenge for us this week," Croker said. "Our defence has been really good for the past couple of weeks and we know we will have to back that up again this week."

Leipana in control ahead of Canberra Raiders' Rabbit hunt

There's a new "Leipana" in town. Still just as potent, but now they're developing a new quality. Controlled. Raider captain Jarrod Croker has been impressed with how Leipana 2.0 were picking a time and a place to unleash their attacking flair.

"Those guys that play a bit more of an exciting brand of football have really controlled it. They've still got that skill, still got their flick passes and chip kicks and all that sort of stuff. The guys have really picked a time and a place and it's been working really well for them," Jarrod Croker said.

South Sydney Rabbitohs coach Anthony Seibold sees glimpses of Canberra Raiders 2016

They might've only won two games so far this NRL season, but Anthony Seibold sees similarities with this season's edition of the Green Machine to 2016 as he prepares to meet them for the first time at Central Coast Stadium on Saturday.

"Blake Austin back on the right-hand side is a real threat ... he likes to get the ball in his hands and takes the line on," Seibold said. "Sezer, the last two weeks his kicking game has been outstanding and there's been a number of tries off his kicks.

Depends on how early you get in mate - there is a multi story car park at the train station that's a good bet and a very short walk, but if you arrive too close to game time that would be full. Other bet is Adcock Park, bit longer to walk, but it's on the Central coast 1/2 Mara course, so you can recce before june😉

Given that there have been rumours around Papalii and Rabbitohs, and that these deals seem to solidify when we play the opposing team and everyone’s in proximity to sign documents, I’m guessing Papa is goneski.

I guess the other option is Wighton. Could detour a bit further to sign on with the Knights.

Good to see Gubb back for Mounties and playing well. Should be putting a little bit of pressure on our towards to keep their spot. For all the flack that out training staff get for the fitness of the players, we certainly are getting players back sooner from injury.
