I would have dropped Hingano and had Murchie or Knight in there, if Havili is capable of playing 80 idk why we have Hingano on, doesn't bring anything special imo, would be better off playing 4 forwards

Wooooooooooo! Finally a game on the coast! 13 years since the last one!

Everyone doing the CC Leagues club before the game?

Also, some of us were thinking instead of the away supporters section, the bay (bay16) behind the posts might be best to gather for the match.

Yes, the same one we wore at Gold Coast and Lottoland.

It’s the closest we come to a jersey clash

It was a play on WMS (Why matt sucks) which comes after his match ups and I was being lazy.

VIDEO: Canberra Raiders Shannon Boyd pushing for starting spot

Raiders prop Shannon Boyd has been happy with his form off the bench in recent weeks and is hoping to catch the eye of Ricky Stuart as he pushes for a starting role.

We aren't going to give Boyd, Sia, Paulo or Papa less minutes to accommodate Knight or Murchie so why would you select them?

Hingano makes sense because he can cover most positions in the backline and Havili can play big minutes. If Havili was genuinely struggling to play more than 40 we'd probably have seen Garvey by now.

Could also just be a matter of giving the young guy some experience with the long term idea of playing him in the halves later in the season or next year.

The Canberra Raiders have found a winning formula

Canberra Raiders coach Ricky Stuart has finally found a winning formula and he is sticking with it as the Green Machine go knocking on the door of the top eight.

"It’s definitely a ruthless approach from Ricky but obviously it keeps the boys on their feet and putting their best foot forward," Junior Paulo said. "For us in the middle, we’ve been able to get off to a good start every week and that’s something we look at building towards as well."

They've found the winning formula now after 4 losses followed by 2 wins against ordinary teams, have they?? This is why we can't have nice things.

If we play with that commitment week in week out we will be hard to beat. I'd say it's a pretty good blueprint

Son, we live in a world that has forums, and those forums have to be guarded by Mods. Who's gonna do it? You? You, Nickman? I have a greater responsibility than you can possibly fathom. You weep for Lucy, and you curse GE. You have that luxury. You have the luxury of not knowing what I know -- that GE’s moderation, while tragic, probably saved lives; and my existence, while grotesque and incomprehensible to you, keeps threads on track and under the appropriately sized, highlighted green headings.
You want moderation because deep down in places you don't talk about at parties, you want me on that forum -- you need me on that forum. We use words like "stay on topic," "use the appropriate forum," "please delete." We use these words as the backbone of a life spent defending something. You use them as a punch line. I have neither the time nor the inclination to explain myself to a man who rises and sleeps under the blanket of the very moderation that I provide and then questions the manner in which I provide it. I would rather that you just said "thank you" and went on your way. Otherwise, I suggest you get a green handle and edit a post. Either way, I don't give a DAMN what you think about moderation.

Knight in for hingano and smash em, havali can play 80 easy, Bateman deserves his spot as he has been playing quite well, loving his work, would prefer Elliot at lock though, makes a big bench, but if you smash them when they try and go through the middle, they will have to go another way and change their game plan

Last week against the eel’s we literary bashed them in defence for the entire game, however this won’t be same with the Rabbitohs forward pack. I think another forward in place of Hingano would be worth while.

Five years for Sticky to develop a 'ruthless approach'. Better late than never I guess.
Winning form is good form so I'm looking forward to seeing how this 17 goes against the in form Souths.

After the complete debarkle that was last season and four straight losses to start the season, I think a lot of the negativity is quite justified

Saying all that, I’m fairly certain the majority of us want to see the boys do well still. At the end of the day we’re all Canberra Raiders fans, but it doesn’t give the players and coach a free pass to dish out garbage

The last two weeks were promising, I just hope to see more of the same attitude and commitment in the next two
