2018 Predicted Ladder

Post by RTW »

Every chance the Panthers get off to a stinker sack Griffin and sign a hard task master like Maguire and storm home late to finish 6 before going straight out of the finals and disappointing their fans once again!

The spiral of silence refers to the idea that when people fail to speak, the price of speaking rises. As the price to speak rises, still fewer speak out, which further causes the price to rise, so that fewer people yet will speak out, until a whole culture or nation is silenced. This is what happened in Germany.

If you do not speak, you are not being neutral, but are contributing to the success of the thing you refuse to name and condemn.

Time will tell with the Panthers I guess. They have a number of players who have come through from the successful NYC teams of 2013 and 2015. They have added experience to the group in recent years by bringing back Peter Wallace and then converting him into a successful hooker and captain. This year they added Maloney. They finished 7th last year and got some finals experience under their belt. Cleary is an absolute standout who I think will benefit from the NRL experience in the 6 and 9 jerseys now in the side. Anyways ... Go Raiders!

If we try hard we could get the spoon but then we’d lose that in Golden Point

Biggest differences were Cowboys, Eels, Rabbitohs, Warriors and Tigers. The other 11 teams were all within a couple of spots.

Still shaping to be a storm roosters GF
