Wooden spoon candidate? The tigers are on the same points as us! Nevertheless I agree with your sentiments on Lolohea - definite pass. I don’t think he’s NRL quality

Im happy about that, the guy takes so many wrong options its crazy.

I was just wondering if there's anyone out there who religiously buys Big League and if that mag has delivered us a Raiders team poster yet in 2018.

This weeks mag has a Rabbitohs team photo...

I will still be on this damn plane at the game. But otherwise I'm well. Perhaps more red wine would help me sleep

The spiral of silence refers to the idea that when people fail to speak, the price of speaking rises. As the price to speak rises, still fewer speak out, which further causes the price to rise, so that fewer people yet will speak out, until a whole culture or nation is silenced. This is what happened in Germany.

If you do not speak, you are not being neutral, but are contributing to the success of the thing you refuse to name and condemn.

He pretty much gave it away in the post game interview paraphrasing:
"Happy that I've found a home"
"Oh so you've re-signed for next year?"
"Um.... (smile) can't talk about that."

Classic stuff.
Nearly as good as watching JT freeze behind the goal posts.

So with Havilli and assumedly Oldfield staying and Bateman coming, I think we have 6 or so spots left. One of those would be reserved for Lui, plus upgrades to full time for at least Horsburgh, Hala and O'Hagen plus maybe someone like Kris. So I doubt we sign much else this year.

You would like to think one of those is a new half, and the other is a new prop. However, given we took 3-4 in our development squad (Bambling, O'Hagan, Roache and is there another?!?), plus we had 4 in the NRL squad (Austin, Sezer, Sammy, Hingano) perhaps we were hedging our bets on youth.

I’ve been waiting patiently for one big signing in one of the 2 spots we need, a prop and a half. In my opinion I’m not being unreasonable that the club can def get one of these positions filled as most clubs would cover both.

But if we don’t sign either b4 next year we need to sack management

Unless he can’t talk about it because he’s signed for another club, and has to wait the cooling off period...
Feel free to call me RickyRicky StickStick if you like. I will also accept Super Fui, King Brad, Kid Dynamite, Chocolate-Thunda... or Brad.

He is the 4D chess master if he's happy to have a home in canberra while heading off to another club.

Agree Brew, whenever asked he has done a solid job of filling in and I think would be dependable on the wing long term...
Also, how flippin' quick is he! I had no idea he has that kind of pace in the kit bag. I know the cowgirls were knackered at that stage but wow!

He was talked about as one of the fastest players in the comp back in his Manly days. Good to see he's still got it.
