The crazy part of that paragraph is that one of the most promising forward is the game is off contract, has been a raiders development player, and he has to go e to us to start discussions! Seriously what the hell are our scouts and management doing??? They should be sounding out every talented player that comes on to the market.

There’s a good article in the Daily Telegraph regarding transparency of the salary cap, but I’m having trouble linking it.

The best part is where they point out how transparency isn’t published to protect players privacy, yet NRL.com news is always adding fuel to the fire surrounding speculation on players wages

GE it’s hope that hurts us raiders fans...after the last two seasons and lack of signings I’d lost hope.....therefore can’t be hurt.

But now you’ve given me hope again....I’m scared

Just been doing some "research" (looking at tpj instagram account) and interestingly havili makes a comment on one of his videos tpj has put up and tpj writes back "laho 😂 see you next weekend 😚" this was 5 days ago which means tpj is in the canberra region this weekend!!!!! Going on this im going to assume its a done deal!!!

TPG market value: $5.36b
Wighton: $800k a year

I'd swap them too but we might have a cap problem
Gina Riley: Oh, come on, John. That’s a bit old hat, the corrupt IOC delegate.
John Clarke: Old hat? Gina, in the scientific world when they see that something is happening again and again and again, repeatedly, they don’t call it old hat. They call it a pattern.

I've figured it out GE.

He's in town to see the family, and he realised he left something in his locker before he left.

I haven't seen much of TPJ lately.. is he really that good? I know that he's recently become a starter instead of a bench player.. but is he really in the marquee bracket?

The Telegraph also has an article about how 25 people are going along to a celebration for Uncle Nicks 25 years at the helm of the Roosters. Including the 3 major player managers and multiple CEOs worth collectively a couple of billion.

Unless Australia has a full on communist revolution no timeline ends with a bad result for the Roosters. Transparency would just show it's all above board and down to "good management".

The spiral of silence refers to the idea that when people fail to speak, the price of speaking rises. As the price to speak rises, still fewer speak out, which further causes the price to rise, so that fewer people yet will speak out, until a whole culture or nation is silenced. This is what happened in Germany.

If you do not speak, you are not being neutral, but are contributing to the success of the thing you refuse to name and condemn.

He singlehandedly demolished the Panthers in 25-30mins last week. It wasn't the 1st time he was untouchable on the field this yr either. So, in a word, yes. However, keeping him fit might be an issue. Has hammy problems.
