If we are looking at another prop , Zane Musgrove from Souths would be worth considering. Due to an injury he has fallen behind in the pecking in order and might be looking for a fresh start. As for backs, guy like Aaron Gray and Jacob Gagan would be good depth players. Does anyone know know whatever happened to Jeremy Hawkins? He is listed as still being part of the Storm via Sunshine Coast Falcons but by my reckoning he has hardly played. Was disappointed when he left.

Hawkins had dodgey hammys I think. That's part of the reason he never kicked on at the Storm either.

I liked him as a player, he was another one who seemed to not get much leeway compared to others when he was here.

Didnt he do something really dumb in a game and Ricky never picked him again?

I think he missed a couple of tackles that led to trys.

Somewhere deep down, i am hoping that we are war chesting the salaries of Paulo, Boyd and Austin to throw at Munster after Nov 1st. I think we have a confidence problem with even approaching super stars, and honestly, we hardly have a big history of even trying, which is really concerning. What is our history of chasing established, super star quality, premiership winning players? JWH in 2014? ANYTHING else?

Ricky had a crack at Teddy, Mansour and Ennis.

Ha..if Ricky banished every player who did something really dumb we'd be left with no one...

Ok Tin Foil hat time...
What if the Raiders, sick of being used as a negotiation tool, have announced that they have no cap space, none, zero. So that when they make an offer for someone like Munster, The Storm say we know the Raiders have no money that’s obviously fake offer go and take it! And bam we got us a pinkachu!Image

Titans are the new hot favourite.
It would likely mean Brimson is available
Brimson is seen as their long term full back when Gordon retires. Gordon may even move to the wing next year if Norman comes on board.

We wouldn't have a team left if that was applied across the board.

Hearing that Tevita Pangai Jnr will be in Canberra tomorrow... and meeting the Raiders. Interested in returning to the Green Machine, and approached the Raiders. Will wait and see... still speculation at this stage.

I heard that Jack Bird went to a restaurant and he ate everything in the restaurant and they had to close the restaurant.

Didn't he just re-sign for 2 years with the Broncs?

Getting TPJ back will be a great move.

It's almost heartbreaking however knowing that if he signs he will be waste deep in KFC and playing 18 minutes off the bench come R8, under Ricky.

He will play prop. And we don't have money problems. We have Raiders problems. And using money as an excuse for no one wanting to come is just too easy.

Yeah, not confirmed.

There is zero articles up here of it being a done deal. Bennett has 'assured' he will sign.

Like that old senile has any idea what his players are up to.

“Tevita won’t be leaving,” Bennett told The Daily Telegraph.

“He has a management issue to sort through, so we won’t have his deal done for a few months, but Tevita has told us he wants to stay.

“We are very confident of keeping him.

“We’re looking at a two-year deal. I don’t think it’s in Tevita’s best interests to do a four or five-year deal.

“His best years are in front of him, so he will become more valuable in the coming years.”

Ayoub is great mates with sticky. He also manages Paulo, so he'd have know first hand what we offered him (and what we'd have available). I just can't see it happening... He has openly said on repeated occasions that he wants to resign with them.

If The Destroyer of Clubs lands TPJ for next season and beyond, I will not say a negative thing on the GH for the entirety of the 2019 season.

That's how impressed I will be.
