Re: Raiders player signing speculation 2018
If we are looking at another prop , Zane Musgrove from Souths would be worth considering. Due to an injury he has fallen behind in the pecking in order and might be looking for a fresh start. As for backs, guy like Aaron Gray and Jacob Gagan would be good depth players. Does anyone know know whatever happened to Jeremy Hawkins? He is listed as still being part of the Storm via Sunshine Coast Falcons but by my reckoning he has hardly played. Was disappointed when he left.
Re: Raiders player signing speculation 2018
Hawkins had dodgey hammys I think. That's part of the reason he never kicked on at the Storm either.
I liked him as a player, he was another one who seemed to not get much leeway compared to others when he was here.

Didnt he do something really dumb in a game and Ricky never picked him again?edwahu wrote:Hawkins had dodgey hammys I think. That's part of the reason he never kicked on at the Storm either.

I think he missed a couple of tackles that led to trys.-GD- wrote: ↑August 2, 2018, 2:35 pmDidnt he do something really dumb in a game and Ricky never picked him again?edwahu wrote:Hawkins had dodgey hammys I think. That's part of the reason he never kicked on at the Storm either.

Ricky had a crack at Teddy, Mansour and Ennis.

Ha..if Ricky banished every player who did something really dumb we'd be left with no one...-GD- wrote: ↑August 2, 2018, 2:35 pmDidnt he do something really dumb in a game and Ricky never picked him again?edwahu wrote:Hawkins had dodgey hammys I think. Ok Tin Foil hat time...
What if the Raiders, sick of being used as a negotiation tool, have announced that they have no cap space, none, zero. So that when they make an offer for someone like Munster, The Storm say we know the Raiders have no money that’s obviously fake offer go and take it! And bam we got us a pinkachu!

We wouldn't have a team left if that was applied across the board.edwahu wrote:I think he missed a couple of tackles that led to trys.-GD- wrote: ↑August 2, 2018, 2:35 pmDidnt he do something really dumb in a game and Ricky never picked him again?edwahu wrote:Hawkins had dodgey hammys I think. Gina Riley: Oh, come on, John. That’s a bit old hat, the corrupt IOC delegate.
John Clarke: Old hat? Gina, in the scientific world when they see that something is happening again and again and again, repeatedly, they don’t call it old hat. They call it a pattern.

Hearing that Tevita Pangai Jnr will be in Canberra tomorrow... and meeting the Raiders. Interested in returning to the Green Machine, and approached the Raiders. Will wait and see... still speculation at this stage.

Losing Paulo and Boyd... replacing with TPJ... well I'd have some faith restored.

I heard that Jack Bird went to a restaurant and he ate everything in the restaurant and they had to close the restaurant.

Re: Raiders player signing speculation 2018
Didn't he just re-sign for 2 years with the Broncs?
Re: Raiders player signing speculation 2018
TPJ must've been told what Paulo and Boyd were on.
Re: Raiders player signing speculation 2018
Getting TPJ back will be a great move.
It's almost heartbreaking however knowing that if he signs he will be waste deep in KFC and playing 18 minutes off the bench come R8, under Ricky.

Can't see how we would have the money for him...Would be great if it happened, even though we are stacked in the back row
Re: Raiders player signing speculation 2018
He’d be a great middle forward IMO.
Re: Raiders player signing speculation 2018
He will play prop. And we don't have money problems. We have Raiders problems. And using money as an excuse for no one wanting to come is just too easy.

He is managed by Ayoub. If he is talking to us its just deal boosting.

“All but certain” was the report I saw.
Re: Raiders player signing speculation 2018
Wait... REALLY?
Goodness me
ugh sorry, for a moment i let myself believe.
Re: Raiders player signing speculation 2018
Yeah, not confirmed.
There is zero articles up here of it being a done deal. Bennett has 'assured' he will sign.
Like that old senile has any idea what his players are up to.

“Tevita won’t be leaving,” Bennett told The Daily Telegraph.
“He has a management issue to sort through, so we won’t have his deal done for a few months, but Tevita has told us he wants to stay.
“We are very confident of keeping him.
“We’re looking at a two-year deal. I don’t think it’s in Tevita’s best interests to do a four or five-year deal.
“His best years are in front of him, so he will become more valuable in the coming years.”

Re: Raiders player signing speculation 2018
Can someone please go hide in the bushes at Raiders HQ tomorrow?
Re: Raiders player signing speculation 2018
Ayoub is great mates with sticky. He also manages Paulo, so he'd have know first hand what we offered him (and what we'd have available). I just can't see it happening... He has openly said on repeated occasions that he wants to resign with them.
Re: Raiders player signing speculation 2018
Don’t be so sure...
Re: Raiders player signing speculation 2018
I want to believe you GE. I just can't see it happening mate. He's probably going to visit family in Canberra and its just spun out of control
Re: Raiders player signing speculation 2018
If The Destroyer of Clubs lands TPJ for next season and beyond, I will not say a negative thing on the GH for the entirety of the 2019 season.
That's how impressed I will be.
