Is posting the story in images to stop people stealing your work GE?

I hope Sam giving Paul Roache a rap is a good sign of things to come. Really hoping a young half steps up over the next 12-24 months and my money is on him to be in First Grade next year.

I'd say so, the flogs on the other siteedwahu wrote:Is posting the story in images to stop people stealing your work GE?

Sam is a good egg. I know people from Cooma who knew him from a boy and have nothing but good things to say about him and his family. He'd be all about teaching the next generation all he can.
Having Sammy at the club was a key part of our last good year- whether he's a starter or not, knowing there is a genuine FG option in reserve (be it Sammy, Blake or Sezer or one of them in #14) can only be good for the club.
From what I recall Sammy had a better red zone kicking game than anyone else in our team (Hodgo 2016 was good, 2017, not so much) which is something we lack. Both Sezer and Austin have decent long boots so he fits in well there.
Katto scholarship would be a great thing for all concerned. Fact that Sia is driving it shows his off field value. Hope we keep him as a coach/mentor/liason/whatever once he's done. We missed out on that big time by losing Wiki and it's one of those intangibles a club needs.

Couldn’t they still download the image then just crop the website link out of the bottom though? A watermark over the top would probably be the only way to properly protect it

Don't give them ideas, fish.
They steal a lot of our stuff.
A watermark is a good idea.

The spiral of silence refers to the idea that when people fail to speak, the price of speaking rises. As the price to speak rises, still fewer speak out, which further causes the price to rise, so that fewer people yet will speak out, until a whole culture or nation is silenced. This is what happened in Germany.
If you do not speak, you are not being neutral, but are contributing to the success of the thing you refuse to name and condemn.

I don’t know, sounds like a lot of effort for people who can’t even write their own stuff...

The reason was a rumour without reputable news source.

Son, we live in a world that has forums, and those forums have to be guarded by Mods. Who's gonna do it? You? You, Nickman? I have a greater responsibility than you can possibly fathom. You weep for Lucy, and you curse GE. You have that luxury. You have the luxury of not knowing what I know -- that GE’s moderation, while tragic, probably saved lives; and my existence, while grotesque and incomprehensible to you, keeps threads on track and under the appropriately sized, highlighted green headings.
You want moderation because deep down in places you don't talk about at parties, you want me on that forum -- you need me on that forum. We use words like "stay on topic," "use the appropriate forum," "please delete." We use these words as the backbone of a life spent defending something. You use them as a punch line. I have neither the time nor the inclination to explain myself to a man who rises and sleeps under the blanket of the very moderation that I provide and then questions the manner in which I provide it. I would rather that you just said "thank you" and went on your way. Otherwise, I suggest you get a green handle and edit a post. Either way, I don't give a DAMN what you think about moderation.

Reports of this sort require a link to a reputable news report. Please don’t post unsubstantiated rumours.
Re: Furner and Williams on ABC Canberra Grandstand after 11am
I watched some highlights of him and he sure can attack, pass well and has a good accurate short tactical kicking game. I've not seen anything of him as a defender. It is an area ex-Union backs really have to work on. Signs look good for him though so I hope he can make the most of any opportunity he gets in the top grade. Nathan Cleary was given an early opportunity and came up trumps with Penrith. Our own Nick Cottric did the same. If you are good enough you are old enough.Wiki Special wrote: ↑February 3, 2018, 8:29 pm I hope Sam giving Paul Roache a rap is a good sign of things to come.
