Murchie I think. He has looked the best of the rest in the forwards.
Re: 2018 Trial: Canberra Raiders V Canterbury Bulldogs
Gubb so tanked he's throwing up on the sideline after 17 minutes on the field. Austin has lis hamstring strapped and is nowhere near 100%

Son, we live in a world that has forums, and those forums have to be guarded by Mods. Who's gonna do it? You? You, Nickman? I have a greater responsibility than you can possibly fathom. You weep for Lucy, and you curse GE. You have that luxury. You have the luxury of not knowing what I know -- that GE’s moderation, while tragic, probably saved lives; and my existence, while grotesque and incomprehensible to you, keeps threads on track and under the appropriately sized, highlighted green headings.
You want moderation because deep down in places you don't talk about at parties, you want me on that forum -- you need me on that forum. We use words like "stay on topic," "use the appropriate forum," "please delete." We use these words as the backbone of a life spent defending something. You use them as a punch line. I have neither the time nor the inclination to explain myself to a man who rises and sleeps under the blanket of the very moderation that I provide and then questions the manner in which I provide it. I would rather that you just said "thank you" and went on your way. Otherwise, I suggest you get a green handle and edit a post. Either way, I don't give a DAMN what you think about moderation.

Hunt going well. Would be on the bench round 1 based on this game.

He dropped the ball cold with no pressure in a match where he is pushing for his spot for the rest of the year... Hardly a good start to his chances!

Yeah but you can't judge a whole season on 20 mins of a trial match...Ultima wrote: ↑February 17, 2018, 6:41 pmHe dropped the ball cold with no pressure in a match where he is pushing for his spot for the rest of the year... Hardly a good start to his chances!

Austin looks better when he doesnt have to pass it to Jack all the time.

Re: 2018 Trial: Canberra Raiders V Canterbury Bulldogs
I don't see the point of only having half a trial match a year... Sure blood some new players but what's the point when everyone around them is the same? Better off giving each forward two sets in attack and defence to see how they go with the rest of the actual team. May as well just watch them in juniors/reserves otherwise.

This commentator is going to lose so much betting on Makatoa as First try scorer.

69th min Raiders look dangerous, good pass Roache in the lead up, but Ravalawa is taken over the sideline.

You heard it here first - Makatoa looking good for first grade on the wing!!
And Roache is playing well at prop, he must have bulked up in the offseason.

I’ve been looking forward to for weeks and I’m literally falling asleep.
Austo is certainly a class above the rest though...

Especially when he’s up against a reserve grade side with no halves or hooker of note.
Re: 2018 Trial: Canberra Raiders V Canterbury Bulldogs
70th min Dogs error 35 m from their own goal line. Chance to level, but Canberra has too rarely threatened in attack.
