Did they score off the back of it ? Can't remember...

Correct call or incorrect call ?
I thought it was a 50/50 call, could see how it was called a knock back, often they get called knock ons

I was more annoyed that we let Mansour run fifty metres than the referee's call
Yeah I couldn't conclusively say that was a knock on so I was happy with play on.

I was saying just last week that the knock back is out of fashion, but it looked back to me from 70 metres away.
It looked backwards to me 600klms away as well.

But you know if that was Jack Wighton it's knock on every single time......

Shirt grabbers will be made to look foolish all day.
Capt Croker needed to be way better there.

I thought the team played well but was let down by a few individual moments in defense. Good signs for next year imo.

And the refs were utterly awful. The ruck and 10 meters was a disgrace. The 60th to 70th was as bad as I have seen it. People need to stop focusing on single decisions.

Sorry troll. You picked the wrong game to single out Sezer. He wasn't even close to the problem today.

I'm sorry that some of you fools are incapable of reading a game of footy. Sezer had a few bright moments but he still fundamentally lacking in essential halfback skills and responsibilities. 40/20s and slips catches are nice n all but they are cherry on the top rather than the core skills. Sezer has improved in recent weeks but he's not a halfback and Austin is a better five eighth so he's really surplus to requirements. Unless our management wisens up and realises our squad missing a half back we will continue to struggle. The plus side is we are only one or two decent signings from being a genuine premiership contender.
Under a good coach Sezer has the potential to be a good half. Unfortunately, the Raiders don't have a good coach. We won games last and this yr through raw talent not good coaching. We lost a number of close games this year through abysmal management and preparation of the team. If he had been up in the stands during games at the beginning of the season he may have been able to address in real time, the many deficiencies that were abundantly clear to board members and perhaps reversed a couple of those close losses. Those close losses have now buried the season.

Stuart's inability to manage the bench rotation is particularly galling and inexplicable.

It's a simple game; tackle, back-up, pass, hold the ball! What did I say? "Hold the bloody ball!!"

It was more the grappling in the ruck than the 10 metres IMO, but both were ordinary.

Credit to Penrith though, they played to the whistle and we tried to milk calls. Our best footy was played when we just got on with it.

Agree. Croker got burnt there but I said to the guys that I was with that I can live with that because he makes that tackle almost every time these days.

Rewind 3 or 4 years and that was his standard. Not anymore though.
We continue to **** about with blokes that are part of some fraternity. It's infuriating.

Look we are still a very faint chance of making it. But we need to win both and have the cowboys manly and dragons all lose game. So while that faint hope is there I'll be back next week...... Who am i kidding I'm back every week

Centres and wingers let in tries, that's what they do, it's the nature of where they defend. Thankfully Croker doesn't let a lot in these days.

I'm more furious at a 67% completion rate than a centre letting in a try.

Let's move on

Only two of the three, we don't need all of them to lose.

And we only need the dragons to lose one, not both.

Put simply we need to win both and have two of the following occur:

- dragons lose one
- cowboys lose both
- Manly lost both

The fact Penrith play Manly and the Dogs helps our cause a little bit.

I still think we're screwed though

Just on the Edwards knockoff, typical piss poor from the Raiders.

Waving their arms around expecting a call, allowed Mansour to waltz up the field.

This side has a very poor mental approach in regards to refs, had they just played to the whistle and not whinge all game long they would have got away with the 2 points.

It all starts with the coach and captain.

You should create a thread about this. Perhaps weekly?
Gina Riley: Oh, come on, John. That’s a bit old hat, the corrupt IOC delegate.
John Clarke: Old hat? Gina, in the scientific world when they see that something is happening again and again and again, repeatedly, they don’t call it old hat. They call it a pattern.

it was a question not a statement. Considering your liberal use of the symbol I would have thought you could understand that.

The points argument is a bit irrelevant considering he is the goal kicker.

Now take a few deep breaths and pull yourself together.

That actually annoyed me more than the referees' decision too, LP Smash.

We're such a stupid, stupid football team.
