I thought the team played well but was let down by a few individual moments in defense. Good signs for next year imo.
And the refs were utterly awful. The ruck and 10 meters was a disgrace. The 60th to 70th was as bad as I have seen it. People need to stop focusing on single decisions.

Unless we replace Sezer and find a half who can pull strings, force repeat sets and kick strategically we will continue to struggle.
Sorry troll. You picked the wrong game to single out Sezer. He wasn't even close to the problem today.
I'm sorry that some of you fools are incapable of reading a game of footy. Sezer had a few bright moments but he still fundamentally lacking in essential halfback skills and responsibilities. 40/20s and slips catches are nice n all but they are cherry on the top rather than the core skills. Sezer has improved in recent weeks but he's not a halfback and Austin is a better five eighth so he's really surplus to requirements. Unless our management wisens up and realises our squad missing a half back we will continue to struggle. The plus side is we are only one or two decent signings from being a genuine premiership contender.
Under a good coach Sezer has the potential to be a good half. Unfortunately, the Raiders don't have a good coach. We won games last and this yr through raw talent not good coaching. We lost a number of close games this year through abysmal management and preparation of the team. If he had been up in the stands during games at the beginning of the season he may have been able to address in real time, the many deficiencies that were abundantly clear to board members and perhaps reversed a couple of those close losses. Those close losses have now buried the season.
Stuart's inability to manage the bench rotation is particularly galling and inexplicable.

It's a simple game; tackle, back-up, pass, hold the ball! What did I say? "Hold the bloody ball!!"

Croker has to make that tackle and 99/100 he does
He didn't on this occasion and it cost us
Agree. Croker got burnt there but I said to the guys that I was with that I can live with that because he makes that tackle almost every time these days.
Rewind 3 or 4 years and that was his standard. Not anymore though.
We continue to **** about with blokes that are part of some fraternity. It's infuriating.

Tell me about it.... I'm sure the players have learnt their lesson
Look we are still a very faint chance of making it. But we need to win both and have the cowboys manly and dragons all lose game. So while that faint hope is there I'll be back next week...... Who am i kidding I'm back every week

Just on the Edwards knockoff, typical piss poor from the Raiders.
Waving their arms around expecting a call, allowed Mansour to waltz up the field.
This side has a very poor mental approach in regards to refs, had they just played to the whistle and not whinge all game long they would have got away with the 2 points.

You should create a thread about this. Perhaps weekly?
Gina Riley: Oh, come on, John. That’s a bit old hat, the corrupt IOC delegate. John Clarke: Old hat? Gina, in the scientific world when they see that something is happening again and again and again, repeatedly, they don’t call it old hat. They call it a pattern.

It all starts with the coach and captain.
That actually annoyed me more than the referees' decision too, LP Smash.
