Aidan Sezer
Can't kick, can't game manage, can't tackle.
Can't run, can't pass, can't play.
We will never win a premiership with him being the No. 7.
Has this guy done anything good this year ? He already had a year to settle in.
Happy Birthday Aidan - now **** off

He's not even our halfback! Based on what I saw today Junior Paulo is.
Whoever come up with the idea of trying to make junior Paulo a first receiver needs to be strapped to a rocket and fired into the **** sun
But yes, EDIT Aiden and take Blake with you.

I must admit, he looks like he's trying hard, but he's just not good enough. I can't remember us getting a repeat set this year!!

Re: Aidan Sezer
If judging by SuperCoach is anything to go by then Aids is a dud. Saying that, I'd let Blake go before him. Hell even Sezer 7, Jack 6, cotric 1, ottio wing would do at the moment.
Re: Aidan Sezer
This is not the same player I saw at the Titans setup a win with a late 40/20.
Not sure what's going on, probably just have to wait and see next year.

Re: Aidan Sezer
This guy has kicked 5 field goals in 71 games for the Titans
38 games for the Raiders - 0 !
No repeat sets but ALWAYS a 7th tackle set for the opposition
Can't tackle as well - missed Gillett for 2 tries today
What value does he add to the team? Can't be calmness !

Whoa whoa whoa, what is he good for?

Agreed, they are suffocating each other and all regressing as a result. He is decent in the correct set up and game plan

Re: Aidan Sezer
Arguably, we could have a tread like this about almost every player
Re: Aidan Sezer
He sucks, I've defended him to the death but I'm now off the wagon

Re: Aidan Sezer
I'm not defending him but I actually think he is alright when he decides to run the ball.
He seems to make a lot of half breaks and like Papa is consistently let down from not having a support runner with him.

Re: Aidan Sezer
Whitehead whilst not lighting up the field like last yr has been quietly solid as well for us this year.Pigman wrote:Papalii, Cotric, Rapana would get a passRaidingZ wrote:Arguably, we could have a tread like this about almost every player
The fact he gets very little mention this yr speaks to me he is doing his job albeit without being spectacular.
Re: Aidan Sezer
Yeah I've got no issues with Whitehead
Re: Aidan Sezer
Can someone explain to someone simple like myself, why Austin and Sezer play on the opposite side of the field to their natural passing.
I can understand for kicking, however they should be flexible enough to position themselves for the 5th tackle.
I think it hinders Austin to get the ball out to BJ, I think Whitehead and BJ would see more ball with Sezer on that side.
Thoughts.

Re: Aidan Sezer
I don't recall Sezer has kicked a 40/20 for the Raiders. Hodgson has though
Re: Aidan Sezer
It was commented on during the game, Wightons name was mentioned as not getting involved enough.scotchberry wrote:I'm not defending him but I actually think he is alright when he decides to run the ball.

This is why Rapana should be fullback, has a better game awareness.

It's not changing mate, this for the most part will be the same squad next year.

Sam Williams, Where is he? How old is Herbert now? Cronk for every penny in the bank, McCrone for 5 bucks and oranges at half time?
WHAT IS THE ANSWER?

Re: Aidan Sezer
Williams was offered a contract by the Raiders and left on his own accord.

Re: Aidan Sezer
Cronk isn't coming, he doesn't leave a team he loves as much as Melbourne to move to Sydney then show up in Canberra! We either have to luck out massive with someone from overseas or get a junior who looks the goods and delivers. Either way, we are pretty **** with-out some miracle happening. Either that or whatever Stuart is telling them to do they start to ignore and play their natural game that got them to where they were before they bought into whatever Bull they are trying now!
McCrone is off contract this year
Honestly there is nothing out there and I doubt Stuart is looking anyway... The press conference today was the same **** "We didn't have enough possession", "Penalties against us", "Not good enough", "I'm just focusing on the next game", yet the same 17 will run out... Maybe he will drop a bench forward for another bench forward, that will fix it!

You watch Slater, Coote, RTS and Gordon - they will run though upwards of up to 5 times each game and will not get an offload - but the odd occassion there is they are there ready and gone downfield before the opposition knows what's hit them.
Inglis consistently stands behind the ruck waiting for any opportunity that may present

Re: Aidan Sezer
Wighton is overrated and only got to where he is as he's the teacher's pet
Makes at least 2 errors in a game
Perhaps he put him at 5/8 as at least he's a good defender
Cotric looks like a good fullback option next year. Hope Ottio regains form and pace.

Sezer must go
What about try our 1-7
Wighton
Cotric
Croker
Bj
Rapana
Austin
Baptiste
Bring Taylor onto the bench, Sia can fill in anywhere in the backs of need be

Re: Aidan Sezer
Weird thing for me is how it's taken this long for the penny to drop for some people. It was evident to me a while ago that Sezer is very very ordinary. Even when we were on fire last year he wasn't dominant. For some unknown reason he's been a protected species on here. Deadest he's offering no more then McCrone ever did and he used to get absolutely crucified.
Re: Aidan Sezer
It was more he was decent at the titans.. whether that was the structure there vs here I dunno.. But he's **** balls here

Re: Aidan Sezer
The problem with Wighton at 5/8 IMO is his led foot. He hammers kicks dead at a much greater rate than Sezer - so we'd essentially be relying on his halves partner ro provide all our kicking.Hong Kong Raider wrote:Wighton is overrated and only got to where he is as he's the teacher's pet

The only change I can see Stuart possibly making is Hodgson to 7 and Baptise to 9. Sezer moving back to 5/8 and Austin the bench. We'd probably need another year of poor performance though.

Raps still the games best. Paps been strong. Cotric a rookie. Every other player has gone backwards in 2017.Pigman wrote:Papalii, Cotric, Rapana would get a passRaidingZ wrote:Arguably, we could have a tread like this about almost every player
On Sezer, his game is very limited and just doesn't have another level to go to. When everybody else is going ordinary his limitations get exposed.

Re: Aidan Sezer
Does anyone know if Isaac John (Mounties) is eligible to play for the Raiders? He's got NRL experience and his profile describes him as a "cunning and creative half who can dictate a game". He sounds like the antithesis of Sezer. He's probably rubbish but given how bad Sezer is going he might we worth a shot.
Theres also Lachlan Croker waiting in the wings. Nothing to lose.
