Canberra Raiders CEO Don Furner calls on NRL to set 2018 salary cap
Raiders chief executive Don Furner has called on the NRL to set the salary cap for the 2018 season and then "work out the other things" in the collective bargaining agreement later so clubs can start signing players.
"I'm hoping it's going to be [finalised] in the next couple of months because it's hard. You're taking a guess and so are [the players] at what it's going to be and what they're worth. That's why everyone's getting frustrated."
