Needs to go on a diet.

And why doesn't he smile when someone takes a photo of him?

I think his name is Thurman Merman.

This has probably already been mentioned, but Telstra are once again rolling out the free digital subscription to its customers!

Well worth getting and easy to sign up for

Cowboys, dragons, dogs and souths are the only clubs in decline. Good effort overall by NRL fans to sign up and support their clubs, particularly raiders fans!

Interesting to see the tigers more than double their membership this year considering the supposed "Man of the people" is gone.

Rabbitohs, Bulldogs, Cowboys, Dragons, Panthers are down or static. I can see why for the first four, but not the last.

DFJ said on radio two weeks ago that they have counted 3,000 junior pass holders in the figures. So I think that's happened already. He didn't mention senior players getting free four game memberships as well like last year. I think they had 5,000 in total of free junior and senior player memberships last year, from memory.

Unbelievably stupid article in today's CM saying the return of the Hayne Plane was driving record NRL memberships this year. Titans have the lowest number of members and smallest increase by a long margin.

Article went some way to redeeming itself by making special mention of the Raiders doubling their 2015 total.

Agreed. I think announcing Hayne as a big reason for extra NRL membership numbers is on par with the extra Sydney Rooster in 2017 memberships due to the signing of Dally Messenger in 1908.

This shows that even including the 3500 four game memberships for local CDRL players, the Raiders were only at 11,000 just before Rd 1. That means they're up by 4,000. Amazing achievement and fantastic work from the Raiders and the membership team.
