Any advice on tickets? Only pretty bad seats left by the looks.

I would advise not buying the ones that are current in the advertising banners below this box. "Be There When History Happens - Rabbitohs 2016 Premiership Tickets". Horrid idea!

As for the Sharks, you could probably buy the whole ground for a fiver.
Gina Riley: Oh, come on, John. That’s a bit old hat, the corrupt IOC delegate.
John Clarke: Old hat? Gina, in the scientific world when they see that something is happening again and again and again, repeatedly, they don’t call it old hat. They call it a pattern.

Yep, as if that hole even has a good seat.

GE, just hop on the grass and get amongst the business with all other Raiders fans.

Depends what you're after GE. I'm going with some mates who are soft and manged to get some seats on about the 30m line but had to ring rather then purchase online. I'm not a massive fan of watching from the end of the ground regardless of whether or not hamish is there with his horn!

If you are only looking for 1-2 seats give ticketek a ring and you'll end up with something decent!

How many are going to this anyway? Am expecting a loss but it would be awesome to see the raiders end this winning streak!

The place is a ****, not in a brookvale league of ****-ness, but up there.

i used my away membership to grab a ticket to this game, i suspect it'll be a GA ticket, so ill be on **** hill in the south west corner of the ground.

Ironically, i used my other away ticket for the Manly away game at brookvale.

You can't see the whole ground standing on the sidelines. I'll ring Ticketek. On line most of the areas are showing allocation exhausted.

Last year we just stood on the hill where the raiders were scoring in the first half and then switched to the other hill for the second half. It was a pretty good system, you're still side-on, about the 20/30 line.

But you can't see past the western grandstand to see the other end of the ground. It's such an awful ground.

the sharks bandwagon is well and truly in swing this year. going to make it more amusing when they fall short again.

I'm happy with this, provided he condenses said updates into one page so we don't have to trawl through page after page the following morning.

Got some much better seats along the eastern concourse sideline today, quite a few tickets turned up in bays that were previously shown as "allocation exhausted".

The spiral of silence refers to the idea that when people fail to speak, the price of speaking rises. As the price to speak rises, still fewer speak out, which further causes the price to rise, so that fewer people yet will speak out, until a whole culture or nation is silenced. This is what happened in Germany.

If you do not speak, you are not being neutral, but are contributing to the success of the thing you refuse to name and condemn.

Nah these 2 boys aren't bandwagoners I'll give them that they probably are in the same boat as me and haven't missed watching a game live in 3 or 4 years I really hope we beat them though so I don't have to hear them go on about how good there going

The Cronulla Sharks have contacted us with a special ticket offer for The Greenhouse for the Raiders V Sharks game. It's for a group booking with discounted tickets for GA of $20 (no extra booking fees).

They would want at least 15 people to do the group booking.

We would need someone to organise the booking... so those folks getting GA tickets... would someone like to volunteer to organise the group booking?

I would intend to offer it on our Facebook page as well.

What it would require is someone to maintain a spreadsheet etc. to operate the group booking.
