We out cheered the Bulldogs fans at Belmore?Raidersfan wrote:Have a feeling we out cheered the doggies fans a few weeks back
Ooooof. There goes that last ounce of credibility you had in this discussion
It's like you don't understand that you don't have to win the game to make the most noise.
But I've seen enough of these type of chats, people like you and GE have absolutely no ability to be objective about our fan base.
Think I'll just shadow box this thread

The reason that group existed was because of the poor atmosphere at home games
And we out cheered a lot of home crowds in games we got beat in. That's what we prided ourselves on. Winning the game doesn't mean you didn't out cheer the home crowd
The dogs and Dragons fans show up the GIO in numbers and make a lot more noise during the game than the home Raiders fans do. Play to play those guys smoke us every year. The fact we make noise when we score or win doesn't change those facts
If your blinkers are on so tight as to want to argue that, well... BOLWE.

They showed up every year and gave the home crowd a **** bath. Bay 72 can only do so much, if the other 6950 raiders fans gave as good as Bay 72 did we wouldn't be having this discussion
And since the RA disbanded, atmosphere at GIO has returned to something slightly above that of Woden library

Oh dear. There has been games where it's atleast 50/50 whether or not those of you who get offended (hot tip: it's not offensive) about it say so or not.Raidersfan wrote:The WORD.greeneyed wrote:I don't think there's any game at Canberra Stadium I've been to where there are more opposition fans. There's no way on earth the Meninga Stand can be entirely made up of opposition supporters. At least the front half of the seats are taken up by Raiders gold members.

There you go CJ ... suggest you keep your receipts when you submit your tax return this year lest you get caught with outlandish, unjustified claims mate.

It's weird that your picking on these games, I remember thinking how outnumbered we were by dragons fans in the last few years also, the two games they "won" for us to beat them on the buzzer they would have had close to more supporters than us.Raidersfan wrote:6950 hahaha ... the crowd in those games were 14400 19350 20445 ... That horrible flogging we got from the tigpies 2014 we were outnumbered massively, i was in the gavel tongue stand just thousands of tigers fans booing the raiders onto the parkgreeneyed wrote:I don't think there's any game at Canberra Stadium I've been to where there are more opposition fans. There's been a lot of opposition fans around our seats in the Tongue-Miller Stand.
Sometimes we've wondered is KW organised tickets in the middle of an opposition allocated area.

the reason I say that is that the crowd for the game was less than our season average
Would have needed about 60 bus loads or 1300 cars down the hume

Anyway I've checked the the origin of ticket sales for the past decade, credit card numbers, licence plate recognition data and noise meters placed strategically around the ground and they all back up my claims. So there.
