Re: Raiders player signing speculation 2016
in his defence, that just means he's a man of his word and actions speaks louder than words.roneel78 wrote:Alleged to have tail gated and then punched the other driverthedevilingreen wrote:Hang so I know it was a road rage incident but what did he actually do?
I've always wanted to do that.
Max jealous right now.
We need this kid. I like his integrity.
I'm not even sure if I'm serious right now.

Perrett digs deep
Canterbury forward Lloyd Perrett is digging his heels in despite the fact he has been deemed surplus to requirements at Belmore. Perrett is on a lucrative long-term deal at the Bulldogs but he is going to struggle to break into a star-studded pack.
Gold Coast have made Perrett an offer in excess of $1million over three years to shift north, but he's not budging at this point.

Its makes the chances better, but I don't know about a 'good chance'.
Re: Raiders player signing speculation 2016
I'm really not even thinking about '17. I just want us to bolster our front row for this year because if we do that there's no reason at all for us not to be really good.
well, I guess you could say that I'm buy curious.
Re: Raiders player signing speculation 2016
So the Cowboys should release tamou now to front load their guns

I can't see us getting Paulo before the season starts so logic dictates if we are now looking for 2017 than we should refocus on Tamou

We should be going after Kaylyn Ponga if they struggle to keep all their players.
Re: Raiders player signing speculation 2016
I have no idea who that is. What's his story?
Son, we live in a world that has forums, and those forums have to be guarded by Mods. Who's gonna do it? You? You, Nickman? I have a greater responsibility than you can possibly fathom. You weep for Lucy, and you curse GE. You have that luxury. You have the luxury of not knowing what I know -- that GE’s moderation, while tragic, probably saved lives; and my existence, while grotesque and incomprehensible to you, keeps threads on track and under the appropriately sized, highlighted green headings.
You want moderation because deep down in places you don't talk about at parties, you want me on that forum -- you need me on that forum. We use words like "stay on topic," "use the appropriate forum," "please delete." We use these words as the backbone of a life spent defending something. You use them as a punch line. I have neither the time nor the inclination to explain myself to a man who rises and sleeps under the blanket of the very moderation that I provide and then questions the manner in which I provide it. I would rather that you just said "thank you" and went on your way. Otherwise, I suggest you get a green handle and edit a post. Either way, I don't give a DAMN what you think about moderation.

Really talented young half/fullback

The kid reportedly passed on offers from 8 Rugby league clubs including an unlimited supply of brown paper bags from the Broncos, QLD reds, the AFL draft and a career in Golf to go to the Cowboys in order to allow his family to move closer to other family support networks due to the I'll health( I think) of a sibling.Manchild wrote:We should be going after Kaylyn Ponga if they struggle to keep all their players.
I can't see us attracting him...worth a shot though, he can only say no.

Yeah I think that may have been the case but I think there must be more family up there. In saying that I have nothing to do with him or his family just here say.Manchild wrote:I thought his family moved back to NZ after an incident i wont state to be closer to family.

That step will be swallowed up with better defenses when he gets older

Surely with more headlines today about salary cap troubles for parra , can only only be good for us.i know its about Watmough and third party stuff. But maybe they will still have to lose a couple of players.Hopefully Junior can come as long as we arent the ones stopping that deal atm

Again, another piece of the puzzle. Broncos need to lend their third party payments person to parramatta. How additional money for Milford's move from Canberra can be considered to be totally separate from him playing for the Broncos is beyond me.
