Hopefully Myles and Bird miss this one after Origin. Even then, Titans by 20.

1 - Ahern
2 - Sami (assuming he is back from injury)
3 - B.Lee
4 - Croker
5 - Hawkings
6 - Campo
7 - Cornish
8 - Shillington
9 - Buttriss
10 - Vaughan
11 - Papalii
12 - Kennedy
13 - Fensom

14 - Baptise (and **** use him in the first 20!)
15 - Tilse
16 - Boyd
17 - Pangai Jr

And for any QQing over the 2nd tier salary cap, we won't hit it, we are miles from it, I doubt we are near our 1st (although they don't work that way) BUT either way, we get fined and lose points for this season, oh no! What ever shall we do with-out our 4 wins!

Pretty much what I'd do GEM, KOD in for Tilse/Edwards however.

Edwards from what I saw today is a plodder, like Tilse another bad resigning.

Wouldn't mind Nicholls and Baker get their chance also, None of these options from me solve our biggest problem which is in the halves.

Cornish needs to start to get a feel for first grade, the Tigers attacked him in defence today which will be the biggest hurdle, however I' m whiling to cut some slack.

I'm afraid Father Time has caught up with Campo, tbh it's getting embarrassing seeing him trundle out, even McCrone seemed to give us more options tonight.

How about:

6. Cornish
7. Sticky

He has more skill than McCrone, and probably still more speed than Campo.

At least with Milford you can understand it, he's a genuine world class footballer. Allwood is **** cookie cutter average. I doubt if he'll play more than 10 more FG games in his career after this year.

Ideally we would punt Milford, Allwood, Campese, McCrone and White. But injuries and the worthless second tier cap may be an issue.
If he was fit, I'd like to see Wighton partner Cornish in the halves, I have no doubt Wighton would do better with a first grade capable halfback. Time to punt Campo and White at very least, they are contributing nothing.

Pretty dumb to go to the Warriors who are rich in quality outside backs and always have good juniors coming up.

Insanely dumb
They produce monsters like Hurrell on a bi yearly basis. Athletically, their outside backs are terrifying, he'll never get a look in there long enough to cement a FG spot.

Crazy bad decision.

Mhmm, he might get a couple of games and then fade away into NSW cup/obscurity forever.

Hard to argue with that. We've carried too many lumbering props for far too long now - why not experiment a bit. We are losing regularly lately so its worth taking a punt on a few fresh faces. Most fans can put up with 'school boy' errors if they're having a red hot crack. I still don't like Milf in the side but can see your point. Get Ahearn onto the wing to see how he goes and maybe in the last few rounds of the season give him an audition at fullback.

Changes I'd like to see:

Sami/Hawkins/M Pangai in for Allwood. If Wighton is out bring 2 of those guys in and shift Lee to centre.

Cornish straight in for Campo, Baptise retains bench spot. Croker captain. I would also accept Cornish onto the bench for Baptiste if that's what it takes to get Cornish back in the side, but that's certainly less preferable.

Then someone in for White, and maybe Tilse as well. Could live with O'Donnell or Nicholls back or Page or T. Pangai debuting.

I tried desperately hard to get Milford out of the line up. But without Wighton, Sami, Edrick Lee and Moses Pangai, the options for Fullback/Wing were Milford, Robinson, Allwood or Billy T

Again it's no surprise to me we have looked worse since Wighton moved out of the halves.

Once he comes back Brenko stays in the 4 and Jack partners Cornish in the halves, Ahearn plays on the wing looking to play him in the 1 next year having a great combo with Mitch.

Ahearn won't kill teams with natural ability however combine him and Cornish and they will with footy smarts, which has been lacking with this side for a long time.

Good post, but I don't know if Ahearn would be that great on the wing, maybe at centre though, but ideally fullback or 5/8th.

Sorry, I think we looked a lot worse with Jack Wighton at five eighth and Terry Campese at half. But we also look very poor in the halves with Campese and McCrone.

Son, we live in a world that has forums, and those forums have to be guarded by Mods. Who's gonna do it? You? You, Nickman? I have a greater responsibility than you can possibly fathom. You weep for Lucy, and you curse GE. You have that luxury. You have the luxury of not knowing what I know -- that GE’s moderation, while tragic, probably saved lives; and my existence, while grotesque and incomprehensible to you, keeps threads on track and under the appropriately sized, highlighted green headings.
You want moderation because deep down in places you don't talk about at parties, you want me on that forum -- you need me on that forum. We use words like "stay on topic," "use the appropriate forum," "please delete." We use these words as the backbone of a life spent defending something. You use them as a punch line. I have neither the time nor the inclination to explain myself to a man who rises and sleeps under the blanket of the very moderation that I provide and then questions the manner in which I provide it. I would rather that you just said "thank you" and went on your way. Otherwise, I suggest you get a green handle and edit a post. Either way, I don't give a DAMN what you think about moderation.

It's easy to see the problem then isn't it, we are going worse now with wighton out of the halves but on a personal level he's playing better at centre and campo's game is no better or worse from when he was at halfback so what's different - mcrone in the halves stinking it up.

Was gonna put a team up but there's no point really is there. Not sure what will happen but i think it will go a little something like this.

White, mcrone, tilse and campo won't be dropped, he'll probably leave allwood there as well if wighton's out.

Mcrone will say things like "we need to stand up" or "now or never" "we're training hard" of course nobody will understand him with his mouthguard in.

We'll make someone an offer and they'll refuse.

Titans guns will all get injured in origin and we'll play a qld cup side but still go down offering little in attack all while having a red hot go.

I hope i'm wrong......especially on the mcrone being interviewed thing.

Ricky couldn't pick 17 blokes to beat the bye this weekend.

We'd probably find a way to screw that up as well...

15 others clubs now look at the draw and pencil in 2pts.

Lee is not ready defensively for center. Not many alternatives that don't have their own issues though.

I'd be interested to know how Ahearn defended there in the trials.

1. Milford
2. Sami should be back from injury
3. Croker
4. Lee coz he's playing out of position on the wing right now.
5. Should be Ahearn, but we'll probably get Robinson.
6. McCrone. At least he runs and makes real tackles.
7. Cornish
8. Vaughan
9. Buttriss
10. Shillington
11. Kennedy
12. Papalii
13. Fensom

Captain? I couldn't care less as long as it's not Shillo. Refs don't seem to take him seriously.

14. Baptiste
15. Boyd
16. KOD
17. Edwards in case the game gets tight. Simple instruction: stick to tackling and leave the attack to the others.
