Matt Orford or that clown who dropped the ball in the final in 2002 whose name escapes me.

Re: The worst Raider ever!
Travis Waddell , worst d/h service I have ever seen, TW and McCrone together, worst of the worst spine combinations with Dugan at the back
Re: The worst Raider ever!
So true Waddell was horrendousKryptonite wrote:Travis Waddell , worst d/h service I have ever seen, TW and McCrone together, worst of the worst spine combinations with Dugan at the back
I need to thank him though I put the house on the Sharks when he was named to start for Brisbane just before kick off, as expected he botched the game
From memory Wayne Bennett took him to the knights also, I found that weird
Re: The worst Raider ever!
Waddell was a joke, what was worse was the people defending him on here when he was so so slow.Kryptonite wrote: ↑May 1, 2021, 6:16 pm Travis Waddell , worst d/h service I have ever seen, TW and McCrone together, worst of the worst spine combinations with Dugan at the back

Re: The worst Raider ever!
Thanks, it was Bulgarelli that I was thinking of. I think that was the first time I'd watched a game since I'd started following the Raiders in '82 that I went ape-**** ballistic.
He finished his career at Ipswich Jets.

Well this comment is taken completely out of context. I was referring to the fact that Billy Walker was back... and I firmly stand by it today as I did thenCrusader wrote:wait Till you see what we are ditching up in 2022

Did anyone here NOT go to Holder High???BJ wrote:Holder High, but this was in my early 20s.Billy Walker wrote:You an old Darra boy BJ? I always thought it a shame that we didn’t see him at his peak.

Son, we live in a world that has forums, and those forums have to be guarded by Mods. Who's gonna do it? You? You, Nickman? I have a greater responsibility than you can possibly fathom. You weep for Lucy, and you curse GE. You have that luxury. You have the luxury of not knowing what I know -- that GE’s moderation, while tragic, probably saved lives; and my existence, while grotesque and incomprehensible to you, keeps threads on track and under the appropriately sized, highlighted green headings.
You want moderation because deep down in places you don't talk about at parties, you want me on that forum -- you need me on that forum. We use words like "stay on topic," "use the appropriate forum," "please delete." We use these words as the backbone of a life spent defending something. You use them as a punch line. I have neither the time nor the inclination to explain myself to a man who rises and sleeps under the blanket of the very moderation that I provide and then questions the manner in which I provide it. I would rather that you just said "thank you" and went on your way. Otherwise, I suggest you get a green handle and edit a post. Either way, I don't give a DAMN what you think about moderation.

Well getting suspended from school certainly increased our chances of going to Holder High , Weston Creek High, Kambah High, etc etcT_R wrote:Did anyone here NOT go to Holder High???BJ wrote:Holder High, but this was in my early 20s.Billy Walker wrote:You an old Darra boy BJ? Re: The worst Raider ever!
I can now add Curtis Scott to my list.
The spiral of silence refers to the idea that when people fail to speak, the price of speaking rises. As the price to speak rises, still fewer speak out, which further causes the price to rise, so that fewer people yet will speak out, until a whole culture or nation is silenced. This is what happened in Germany.
If you do not speak, you are not being neutral, but are contributing to the success of the thing you refuse to name and condemn.
