David Furner would have to lose 30 straight games before we even consider the coaching position. 27 to go...move on.

For that to happen we need a new administration. And that will never happen, at least while Bonehead draws breath.

There was a time in my life where I was 100% certain that my first son's name would be Daley.

Now I'm so despondent as a Raiders fans that I fear I will never again muster the requisite energy to achieve erection.

1. We need a new coach and management structure

2. We won't get one. They will use Dugan/Ferguson/Milford as an excuse. "We were in with a shot at the 8 until the last few rounds ..."

We should tell Dave he's not required next year. Its worked a treat for the Cowboys with Henry. Great way to inspire a winning run into the finals.

My issue is and has been for some time, i dont think a new coach solves any problem with this club. The problems are much higher than he is. I think a replacement coach would be of the same ilk as furner, maybe even worse. The club just wont spend the dollars to get the type of guy this player group needs

Son, we live in a world that has forums, and those forums have to be guarded by Mods. Who's gonna do it? You? You, Nickman? I have a greater responsibility than you can possibly fathom. You weep for Lucy, and you curse GE. You have that luxury. You have the luxury of not knowing what I know -- that GE’s moderation, while tragic, probably saved lives; and my existence, while grotesque and incomprehensible to you, keeps threads on track and under the appropriately sized, highlighted green headings.
You want moderation because deep down in places you don't talk about at parties, you want me on that forum -- you need me on that forum. We use words like "stay on topic," "use the appropriate forum," "please delete." We use these words as the backbone of a life spent defending something. You use them as a punch line. I have neither the time nor the inclination to explain myself to a man who rises and sleeps under the blanket of the very moderation that I provide and then questions the manner in which I provide it. I would rather that you just said "thank you" and went on your way. Otherwise, I suggest you get a green handle and edit a post. Either way, I don't give a DAMN what you think about moderation.

You might be right, Nick.

The problem is the club can't afford to not at least try and find out. Its very existence, at least as this generation of fans knows it, is on the line.

Hard to disagree as we watch another season circle the drain. Im just saying is if people think the end of David Furner is going to solve this clubs problems, they are going to have a bad time

Also, nice call a few posts prior.

It's definitely time for Furner to go, a fresh voice is required to reinvigorate the club (most of the young guys we've had come through had Furner in U/20's also, not surprising a twat like Dugan got sick of him). I would love to see Laurie Daley get given the reins myself. I wouldn't complain if we brought Tim Sheens back as a coaching director mentoring a young coach either. Need someone who can instill pride and discipline into the playing roster because it appears that is something our club currently lacks.

Agree. Fans are over this bottom half of the eight every second season rubbish.

Expect memberships to be way down next season without a change in coach.

we give them unlimited access to Questacon, The Mint, War Memorial for the duration of their contract or whenever they seek a release.
