South Australian Under 15s visit Raiders HQ
With the Australian Schoolboys Championships being held in Canberra this year, the South Australian Under 15s side was given the unique opportunity to be given a tour of Raiders HQ. The squad was given a behind the scenes tour or all the facilities and change rooms and given in-depth lectures by Raiders Strength and Conditioning Coach Nigel Ashley-Jones and former Country, New South Wales and Australian representative Tom Learoyd-Lahrs.
“It’s a pretty massive experience for the boys,” coach David Tyrell said. “All the guys are very passionate about rugby league even those who are relatively new to the game. To come and experience the elite level of what they’re all interested in doing has been amazing. You can see the smiles on their faces walking around especially when they got to meet Tom Learoyd-Lahrs who’s played at the highest levels of the game.”
