Re: The Union Thread
My first memories of rugby were watching him carve up in the 95 World Cup. A true NZ legend.
Re: The Union Thread

Brumbies say they are 1 mill dollars behind in corporate sales because they haven't been able to sell corp boxes with no stadium agreement.

ARU to announce $275 million TV deal
The Australian Rugby Union has secured a new broadcast rights deal worth more than $275 million in a deal that will see all Super Rugby matches live on Fox Sports and a Sunday morning replay on Ten Network.
The deal, first revealed by Fairfax Media in 2014, has taken more than a year to complete because the code's governing body, SANZAR (South Africa, New Zealand and Australia Rugby), who will also absorb Argentina as a full member from next year, had to negotiate 11 different broadcast deals before making an official announcement.

Re: The Union Thread
Brumbies were great tonight. David Pocock is the sort of bloke you want your daughter to bring home for dinner. So loveable.
I watched The Code: Brumbies on Foxsports and it was a great insight into the Brumbies. It is the sort of show that every sports team should be presenting to their fans.
Except the Titans/Sharks/Tigers. No one wants to see those **** shows.

He's put the board off side, he had an interview on grandstand which sealed his fate
Re: The Union Thread
I heard from a source that he turned up to a game with vinyl not leather elbow patches. A rugby no no.

Yeah he signed his fate when he pretty much threaten them to back down or else he would bring the entire club down.Lenny Leonard wrote:He's put the board off side, he had an interview on grandstand which sealed his fate

Brumbies CEO gets an injunction to go back to work just 2 days after being sacked
Would have loved to seen the reaction of colleagues as he walked to his desk.
