Woooo... Bronze.

If not for Kyle Chalmers, this would have been a complete disaster.

We've now wIted for over half an hour for the final swimming medal ceremony. Nothing has happened for well ver half an hour. US TV apparently demanded the schedule be changed to fit with what they wanted to do. It was to be "at the top of the hour". That was 10 minutes ago.

Mack " where's Wally" Horton is racing.

Fox are reporting American swimmer Ryan Lochte was robbed at gunpoint in Rio overnight.
He was with 3 other athletes including a Brazilian. They were pulled over by a car full of men impersonating police officers and told to lay down on the ground.

Lochte refused and had a gun pointed at his head, he laid down on the ground. They took his wallet.....wow.

Best Olympic experience ever.

You have NO idea how much action a bronze medal brings from the ladies.

Son, we live in a world that has forums, and those forums have to be guarded by Mods. Who's gonna do it? You? You, Nickman? I have a greater responsibility than you can possibly fathom. You weep for Lucy, and you curse GE. You have that luxury. You have the luxury of not knowing what I know -- that GE’s moderation, while tragic, probably saved lives; and my existence, while grotesque and incomprehensible to you, keeps threads on track and under the appropriately sized, highlighted green headings.
You want moderation because deep down in places you don't talk about at parties, you want me on that forum -- you need me on that forum. We use words like "stay on topic," "use the appropriate forum," "please delete." We use these words as the backbone of a life spent defending something. You use them as a punch line. I have neither the time nor the inclination to explain myself to a man who rises and sleeps under the blanket of the very moderation that I provide and then questions the manner in which I provide it. I would rather that you just said "thank you" and went on your way. Otherwise, I suggest you get a green handle and edit a post. Either way, I don't give a DAMN what you think about moderation.

First man to win 3 Olympic 100m gold medals. 2008, 2012, 2016.

Carl Lewis won in 1984 and 1988.

There's no way Australia can now finish in the top five. This is a worse performance than the last Olympics.

National disgrace. Not only can't we laugh at each other anymore we're no good at sport.

I blame all the junior development programmes where kids play "just for the fun of it".

Was thinking today watching the 100m that Bolt might struggle with the ladies if he always finishes in under 10 seconds.
