First! Enjoy it while it lasts!
Gina Riley: Oh, come on, John. That’s a bit old hat, the corrupt IOC delegate.
John Clarke: Old hat? Gina, in the scientific world when they see that something is happening again and again and again, repeatedly, they don’t call it old hat. They call it a pattern.

It's always good to show a replay of the Men's cycling when the women's race is currently live.

Finishes out of the medals. Sweeden take the gold. WR

McKeon qualified second, in lane five, finished seventh. Poor thing just couldn't answer the questions in the interview, she was so upset.

First 2 legs weren't great, left too much work for Magnussen and McEvoy.

Mate, Magnussen got into the water in 2nd place and swum like a ****!
Our opener had a time of 38.8, 2nd dude absolutely smashed it, with a 37.3 got us back in the thing and then my mate the missile rolled around in his own **** for 100m at 38.4 and McEvoy had to swim a 37 even to even nab bronze

**** James Magnussen. Forever and always. Absolute muppet

Look, the opener swam a terrible time, but i've never heard of the guy! If you're going to go around calling yourself the god damn missile, you'd damn well better swim something in the 37's when trying to swim for gold.

After the absolutely shameless display he put up in London 4 years ago, to back it up with this... Christ. I ashamed to be Australian!!

I've only had about 30 minutes so far to sit down and try and watch some of this. Appears as though 7 are predictably butchering the coverage. If only Fox or someone had the potential to show us some of the stuff that 7 aren't interested in.
well, I guess you could say that I'm buy curious.

Seven are showing three channels and have an App that allows you to watch anything else. I've not ever been left feeling I can't see what I want to.

The app is ****.. 7 have copped it on social media to which they threw up their hands and say it's the host broadcasters fault

Yeah, yet you're happy to charge people for the privilege of watching a loading screen

 Best part of the Olympics so far is Pigman's disdain for Magnussen! Did he hit on your Sister or something?

I'm not that fussed with the bloke but I certainly don't feel as strongly as you on the matter but it was strange that they moved Magnussen to 3rd position when traditionally your 2 best swimmers go first and last. No chance he jumped in in 2nd place though, it was 4th at best, but it looked like he swum faster than he did as he was probably swimming against other countries worst 100m swimmer! McEvoy looks like he could go very close in the individual events.

They're going to have to refund people if that's the case. You can't take money and not deliver the product, no matter what.

Woody, my absolutely favourite thing about the Olympics is

A) suddenly becoming an expert about sports I know nothing about and don't care one iota for

And

B) hurling mountains of abuse at Failed Aussie athletes.

Most of its just satire in the Roy and HG style, but I do genuinely hate Magnussen

It's the best! It brings joy into my heart to abuse some poor Aussie Fencing athlete who shouldn't have even qualified, for coming 4th and demanding we revoke citizenship for failing to bring home a medal

Magnussen ruined the Olympics for everyone last year and he's done again this year. Absolute piece. He can **** swim home, cancel his citizenship whilst he's on the journey, and then he gets within sight of our majestic beeches, we can detain him as an illegal and dump him in Christmas Island for processing

Fwiw he absolutely jumped in at 2nd place
That's not my opinion, officially we touched in 2nd place at the time of the Magnussen change over

Fair play. I think you're in a majority there.

My favourite thing about the Olympics is watching it at work and genuinely passing it off as a necessary evil of the job :D . The downside is that if Australia finishes outside the top 5, the Winning Edge strategy will cop a hammering and I might have to do some more actual work.
